"Keep me as the apple of Your eye"

 

He who touches you touches the apple of His eye. Zechariah 2:8

This is a powerful promise of God for our protection. He protects us as the apple of His eye if we fear Him. The phrase 'the apple of one’s eye' describes someone or something cherished, as precious and delicate as the pupil of the eye. God cares for us when we faithfully follow His Words and commandments. He is our shelter, fortress, shield, and refuge in times of trouble. Let us join King David in thanking God for His protection: "Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings."

உங்களைத் தொடுகிறவன் அவருடைய கண்மணியைத் தொடுகிறான். சகரியா 2:8

இது நமது பாதுகாப்பிற்காக கடவுள் கொடுத்த வலிமையான வாக்குறுதியாகும்.  நாம் அவருக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கும் போது, அவர் கண்ணின் மணியாக நம்மைக் காக்கிறார்.  'ஒருவரின் கண்மணி' என்ற சொற்றொடர், கண்ணின் கண்மணியைப் போல விலைமதிப்பற்ற மற்றும் மென்மையான ஒருவரையோ,  அல்லது நேசத்துக்குரிய ஒன்றையோ  விவரிக்கிறது.  நாம் அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளையும் கட்டளைகளையும் உண்மையுடன் பின்பற்றும்போது கடவுள் நம்மைக் கவனித்துக்கொள்கிறார்.  அவரே நமக்கு அடைக்கலம், கோட்டை, கேடயம், துன்ப காலங்களில் புகலிடம். தாவீது ராஜா கடவுளின் பாதுகாப்பிற்கு நன்றி தெரிவிப்பதில் நாமும் சேர்ந்துகொள்வோம்: "கண்மணியைப்போல என்னைக் காத்தருளும். உம்முடைய செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்."

"Promise of Restoration"

Then the  Lord  your God will ..... prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. Deuteronomy 30:5 Today's verse is a great promise given by God for us to prosper and multiply in this new year. This promise of restoration is given to everyone who repents and turns to the Lord, following Him wholeheartedly. If we obey all His commandments, the Lord will make us prosperous and successful in all our ways. The Lord will pour out His blessings upon us in our wealth, health, lives, work, and property more than He did to our fathers. "God, our light and strength."

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life. Psalm 27:1. This is a psalm of confidence in God. There are times in our lives we feel like we are living in a world full of darkness. Although much of the world is lost in darkness, there is still a light. King David proclaimed that God was his light, his salvation, and his strength for the journey along the path of life. Light represents all that is good and is also a source of guidance. The Lord is the source of all goodness and light in our lives. He has given us His Word as a guide: "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." ( Psalm 119:105)  Sometimes, when we feel too weak to keep going, David reminds us that God always gives us strength and is the main source of everything in our lives. "Keeping God’s word in our heart gives long life"

With  long life I will satisfy him,  and show him My salvation.” Psalm 91:16. Every day, people are struggling with fear of sickness, darkness, and death. But our God is promising us a long life and the gift of His salvation to us when we trust Him, love Him, and are obedient to Him. Abraham, the friend of God, died in a good old age - an old man and full of years because he followed God faithfully. King Solomon says that if we keep God's words in our hearts, then the length of days, long life, and peace will add to us. Blog # 363 - "Generosity leads to true prosperity."

The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. Proverbs 11:25. The first part of this scripture says that those who are generous will be made rich or prosperous. In the Bible, prosperity has a lot to do with well-being and flourishing, enjoying the fullness of life as God intends for us. If we want to experience an abundant life, we must be generous. The second part says that he who waters will also be watered himself. Watering takes place in the form of doing a good deed to help others. God has instilled within us gifts of skills and talents to help those around us. We must extend one hand open to God to receive His blessings and extend the other hand to those who are in need. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep" John 10:11. In today's verse, Jesus shows Himself as the good shepherd who gave His life on the cross to save us. In Psalm 23, David beautifully describes God as a caring shepherd, praising His love, care, comfort, provision, and protection. David also celebrates how God guides, leads, and restores us when we trust Him. God, like a good shepherd, watches over us, keeping us safe from harm, and even risking His life for us. "Honor the Lord"

Honor the  Lord  with your possessions,  And with the firstfruits of all your increase. Proverbs 3:9 God has blessed us with good wealth and health. It is important to honor God with our possessions. We are expected to give God the best and the first of everything that we possess, including our finances. Worshiping the Lord, spending time with Him, and sharing the Gospel are just a few other ways we can honor our God.
