"Blog Y2 054 - Seek God's Light and Walk in Faith"

For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light. Psalm 36:9.

King David praised God as He is both the fountain of life; and the source of true light. As the fountain of living waters, He gives joy to those who trust in Him. God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. Jesus Christ is the Light of the World.  Like David, we are called to seek God's light, follow His path, and walk in faith. The Gospel of John shows that Jesus came to give life and light to all who believe in Him.  He is the life giver and He is the one who can enlighten our darkness.  He wants us to walk in His light. Are you truly seeking God’s light and walking in His path, as David did? John 8:12 says: "Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

தாவீது ராஜா தேவனை ஜீவ ஊற்று மற்றும் உண்மையான ஒளிவிளக்கு என்று துதித்தார். ஜீவத்தண்ணீரின் ஊற்றாக, தம்மை நம்புகிறவர்களுக்கு அவர் மகிழ்ச்சியைத் தருகிறார். தேவன் ஒளியாயிருக்கிறார், அவரில் எவ்வளவேனும் இருளில்லை. இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உலகத்தின் ஒளியாயிருக்கிறார். தாவீதைப் போல, நாம் தேவனின் ஒளியைத் தேடவும், அவரது பாதையைப் பின்பற்றவும், விசுவாசத்தில் நடக்கவும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். தம்மை விசுவாசிக்கிற யாவருக்கும் ஜீவனையும் ஒளியையும் கொடுக்க இயேசு வந்தார் என்பதை யோவான் நற்செய்தி காட்டுகிறது. அவர் நமக்கு உயிர் கொடுப்பவர், அவர் நம் இருளை ஒளிரச் செய்யக்கூடியவர்.  நாம் அவருடைய வெளிச்சத்தில் நடக்க வேண்டும் என்று அவர் விரும்புகிறார். தாவீதைப் போல நீங்கள் உண்மையிலேயே தேவனுடைய ஒளியைத் தேடி, அவருடைய பாதையில் நடக்கிறீர்களா? யோவான் 8:12 கூறுகிறது: “மறுபடியும் இயேசு ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: நான் உலகத்திற்கு ஒளியாயிருக்கிறேன், என்னைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவன் இருளிலே நடவாமல் ஜீவஒளியை அடைந்திருப்பான் என்றார்.”

This verse highlights the importance of fearing the Lord, showing that reverence for God brings life, protection, and wisdom. It reminds us that honoring God leads to a purposeful, fulfilling life, keeping us safe from spiritual destruction. The "fear of the Lord" is like a life-giving fountain, providing spiritual nourishment, joy, and purpose. It helps believers grow in their relationship with God, bringing wisdom and understanding. God promises us His peace, and as we focus on Him and not on ourselves, His peace becomes a constant reality. This peace is something all believers are called to experience, both individually and together, as the body of Christ. However, this peace can be blocked when our hearts are not thankful or filled with praise. A heart full of gratitude and praise prepares us to receive Christ’s peace and share it with others. The Apostle Paul reminds the believers in Colossae that their ultimate source of wisdom and knowledge is found in Christ alone and urges them not to be led astray by false teachings or human reasoning. The " treasures of wisdom and knowledge " hidden in Christ symbolize the divine revelation and insight that come from a relationship with Him. Paul describes this wisdom as secret and beyond human understanding, highlighting that it surpasses anything we can grasp apart from God. This serves as a reminder that our faith is not grounded in human wisdom or reasoning, but in the wisdom and knowledge that come through a relationship with Christ. God will render…. eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality. Romans 2:6,7. In this scripture, Apostle Paul addresses the concept of judgment and how people will be judged by God. He emphasizes that God's judgment is fair and will be based on our actions and beliefs. However, the Bible teaches that no one can perfectly do good or achieve salvation by their works alone, because all have sinned (Romans 3:23). Eternal life is ultimately a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned by good deeds (Ephesians 2:8-9). Good works are important as evidence of a genuine faith and relationship with God, but they are not the basis for salvation.
