Blog # Y2 013 - "God Turns Troubles into Blessings"

 

Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, And the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down, For My people who have sought Me. Isaiah 65:10.

Today's verse speaks about God's blessings in store for His chosen people who are saved through Jesus Christ. Let us explore what God says about the two places mentioned in this verse: Sharon and the Valley of Achor. Sharon refers to the plain south of Mount Carmel, situated between the central mountain range and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a fertile agricultural area. The Valley of Achor, located northwest of Jericho on the northern border of the tribe of Judah, is where the Israelites executed Achan and his household. 'Achor' means 'trouble' or 'affliction,' signifying severe trouble. The troubles of the past are reversed and replaced with blessings when we seek Him faithfully, and He even reverses the curses, as Jesus took all our curses upon Himself. Just as Sharon represents a place of fruitfulness and Achor, a place of trouble, God promises to turn our past afflictions into future blessings. Are you trusting God to turn your past troubles into opportunities for blessings, just as He promises for the Valley of Achor? Galatians 3:13 says: "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us."

'ஆகோர்' என்றால் 'தொல்லை' அல்லது 'துன்பம்' என்று பொருள், இது கடுமையான சிக்கலைக் குறிக்கிறது. நாம் உண்மையுடன் தேவனைத் தேடும்போது கடந்த காலத்தின் துன்பங்கள் தலைகீழாக மாற்றப்பட்டு, ஆசீர்வாதங்களால் மாற்றப்படுகின்றன, மேலும் இயேசு நம்முடைய சாபங்களைத் தம்மீது எடுத்துக்கொண்டதால் அவர் சாபங்களையும் மாற்றுகிறார். சாரோன் கனிதரும் இடத்தையும், ஆகோர் பிரச்சனையின் இடத்தைதையும் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது போல, நம்முடைய கடந்தகால துன்பங்களை எதிர்கால ஆசீர்வாதங்களாக மாற்றுவதாக தேவன் வாக்களிக்கிறார். ஆகோர் பள்ளத்தாக்குக்கு அவர் வாக்குறுதி அளித்ததைப் போல, உங்கள் கடந்தகால பிரச்சனைகளை ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்கான வாய்ப்புகளாக மாற்றுவதற்கு நீங்கள் தேவனை நம்புகிறீர்களா? கலாத்தியர் 3:13 கூறுகிறது: “கிறிஸ்து நமக்காகச் சாபமாகி, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் சாபத்திற்கு நம்மை நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்டுக்கொண்டார்.”
