And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger". John 6:35

In the time of Jesus, many followed Him for earthly blessings, yet His teachings focused on the spiritual.  In today's verse, Jesus said that He is the bread of life and whoever comes to Him will never go hungry. Jesus is the bread that came down from Heaven, His broken body sacrificed on the cross. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, He satisfies our hearts with love, joy, peace, and eternal life. Let us remember what Jesus said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life."

The law of the wise is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death. Proverbs 13:14. This verse teaches us the value of wisdom and its life-giving power. Wisdom refreshes and sustains us like a fountain of life. On the other hand, ignoring wisdom leads to danger and destruction, symbolized as "snares of death." Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Jeremiah 1:5 We need to thank the Lord for knowing us before we were formed in our mother's womb. How precious we are and how beautifully He created each one of us in a unique way.
