Be glad and rejoice, For the LORD has done marvelous things! Joel 2:21

In this verse, the prophet Joel told the people of Israel to rejoice and be glad for the great things that God has done, when they returned to Him. They faced a lot of problems like drought, plagues and poor harvests as they were not following the ways of God. In the same way, if we follow the wicked ways of this world, we lose love, joy and peace. But when we walk according to the word of God, God will restore all the good things that we lost and make us glad and to rejoice.  God is expecting us to worship Him and sing praises to Him as He has done wonderful things in our lives. Shall we also sing along with the Psalmist saying, 'I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.' 

மகிழ்ந்து களிகூரு, கர்த்தர் பெரிய காரியங்களைச் செய்வார். 
யோவேல் 2:21

"Let us claim the Promises of God"

“Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”   and so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Hebrews 6:14 Today's verse is a promise of God to His people who follow Him faithfully. God promised Abraham that all the families of the earth would be blessed in him. Later, God reaffirmed his promise, telling Abraham his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore and his descendants will possess the gates of their enemies. Today the same God wants to bless us when we obey His voice as Abraham did. That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24. The answer to our prayers is prepared before we pray. He is more ready to hear than we are to pray! He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good. Proverbs 19:8. This scripture talks about how to love ourselves. We love our own soul by protecting and guarding it from self-oppression. We need to save our souls from eternal death, and only then we can help others. How will we save others if we don’t have the wisdom to save ourselves? We must embrace godly wisdom and understanding. Divine wisdom is God's perfect, eternal knowledge and understanding, guiding us in truth and righteousness and aligning our lives with His will. As we do this, we are actively loving our own soul! How do we save our soul? Remember that Jesus said if we try to save our earthly lives, we will lose them. But if we lose our lives for Jesus' sake and the gospel’s sake, we will save them. Oh, taste and see that the  Lord   is  good;  Blessed  is  the man  who  trusts in Him! Psalm 34:8 In this verse David shares his personal experience of how he tasted and saw the goodness of God in his life. He also says how he is blessed when he puts his trusts in the Lord. The phrase taste and see, simply means "try and experience." As David tasted the love of God, we all should try and experience it personally to know how good He is. Additionally, we can focus on God's goodness by focusing on His word. When we trust Him and walk in His word, we will receive His blessings in all the areas of our lives. Just as a father loves his son, so God loved Israel and delivered His people from slavery in Egypt. Though they turned to idols, God’s love remained, and He cared for them.
