Blog # 358 - "Trust in God's unchanging power"

Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble. Psalm 119:165

Those who love His law, the Word of God maintain great peace in their hearts.  Once Jesus was traveling with His disciples in a boat.  While He was asleep a great storm hit the boat.  His disciples thought that they are going to die and were screaming out of fear.  Finally they woke up Jesus. Jesus arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!”  The wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Jesus was not pleased at all as the disciples had no faith. Today, He expects us to have faith in Him to face any adverse situations without stumbling. Jesus said, 'In Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.'

உம்முடைய வேதத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு மிகுந்த சமாதானமுண்டு, அவர்களுக்கு இடறலில்லை. 

சங்கீதம் 119:165

அவருடைய சட்டத்தை நேசிப்பவர்கள், கடவுளுடைய வார்த்தையை நேசிப்பவர்கள் தங்கள் இதயங்களில் மிகுந்த அமைதியைக் காத்துக்கொள்வார்கள். ஒருமுறை இயேசு தம் சீடர்களுடன் படகில் சென்று கொண்டிருந்தார். அவர் உறங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தபோது பெரும் புயல் படகைத் தாக்கியது. அவருடைய சீடர்கள் தாங்கள் இறக்கப் போகிறோம் என்று நினைத்து பயந்து அலறினர். இறுதியாக அவர்கள் இயேசுவை எழுப்பினார்கள். இயேசு எழுந்து, காற்றைக் கடிந்துகொண்டு, கடலைப் பார்த்து, "அமைதியாய் இரு!" என்றார். காற்று நின்றது, பெரும் அமைதி நிலவியது. சீடர்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கை இல்லாததால் இயேசு சிறிதும் மகிழ்ச்சியடையவில்லை. இன்று, எந்த பாதகமான சூழ்நிலையையும் தடுமாறாமல் எதிர்கொள்ள அவர் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைத்திருக்க வேண்டும் என்று அவர் எதிர்பார்க்கிறார். இயேசு சொன்னார், "என்னிடத்தில் உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் உண்டாயிருக்கும்பொருட்டு இவைகளை உங்களுக்குச் சொன்னேன். உலகத்தில் உங்களுக்கு உபத்திரவம் உண்டு, ஆனாலும் திடன்கொள்ளுங்கள், நான் உலகத்தை ஜெயித்தேன். என்றார்."
