"Blog Y2 086 - Calm Words, Peaceful Hearts"

In every place where I record My name I will come to you, and I will bless you. Exodus 20:24

God spoke these words to Moses while He was giving the Ten Commandments to the people of Israel at Mount Sinai. This verse is a promise for us today that God will come and bless us in every place where we remember and honor His name. God is there to help us whenever wherever we call upon His name. He wants us to exalt His name alone; neither other gods nor loving anything more than God. Many times we call His name when nothing else works out. We should not be like that. We should seek His face for His grace and mercies before we start doing anything. Let's repeat with David, "His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed in Him; All nations shall call Him blessed."

சீனாய் மலையில் வைத்து இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களுக்கு பத்துக் கட்டளைகளைக் கொடுத்தபோது கடவுள் மோசேயிடம் இந்த வார்த்தைகளைச் சொன்னார். அவருடைய நாமத்தை நாம் நினைவுகூர்ந்து போற்றுகிற எல்லா இடங்களிலும் தேவன் வந்து நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார் என்று இந்த வசனம் இன்று நமக்கு ஒரு வாக்குறுதியாக இருக்கிறது. நாம் எங்கெல்லாம், எப்பொழுதெல்லாம் அவருடைய நாமத்தைக் கூப்பிடுகிறோமோ அங்கெல்லாம் கடவுள் நமக்கு உதவியாக இருக்கிறார். அவருடைய நாமத்தை மட்டும் நாம் உயர்த்த வேண்டுமென அவர் விரும்புகிறார்; மற்ற கடவுள்களையோ அல்லது மற்ற எதையுமோ கடவுளை விட அதிகமாக நேசிப்பதை அவர் விரும்புவதில்லை. பல நேரங்களில் வேறு எதுவும் பலனளிக்காதபோது நாம் அவருடைய பெயரை அழைக்கிறோம். நாம் அப்படி இருக்கக்கூடாது. நாம் எதையும் செய்யத் தொடங்கும் முன் அவருடைய கிருபை மற்றும் தயவுக்காக அவருடைய முகத்தைத் தேட வேண்டும். நாம் தாவீதுடன் மீண்டும் சொல்லுவோம், "அவருடைய நாமம் என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும், சூரியனுள்ளமட்டும் அவருடைய நாமம் சந்தான பரம்பரையாய் நிலைக்கும், மனுஷர் அவருக்குள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுவார்கள், எல்லா ஜாதிகளும் அவரைப் பாக்கியமுடையவர் என்று வாழ்த்துவார்கள்."
