Everyone desires peace and prosperity in themselves, their families, cities, and nations. This scripture is written about Jerusalem, means the city of peace, the House of God where God is present. In order to obtain peace we must keep God in everything we do. Jesus said that, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." The Bible further promises prosperity if we obediently serve Him, ensuring that our days will be filled with abundance and our years with joy. Let us speak this blessing over us: "Now may the Lord of peace Himself give us peace always in every way. The Lord be with us all."
உன் அலங்கத்திற்குள்ளே சமாதானமும், உன் அரமனைகளுக்குள்ளே சுகமும் இருப்பதாக. சங்கீதம் 122:7
ஒவ்வொருவரும் தங்களிலும், தங்கள் குடும்பங்களிலும், நகரங்களிலும், நாடுகளிலும் சமாதானத்தையும், செழிப்பையும் விரும்புகிறார்கள். இந்த வசனம் ஜெருசலேமைப் பற்றி எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது, அதாவது சமாதான நகரம், கடவுள் இருக்கும் தேவனின் வீடு. அந்த சமாதானத்தைப் பெறுவதற்கு, நாம் செய்யும் எல்லாவற்றையும் கடவுளை முன் வைத்து செய்ய வேண்டும். இயேசு சொன்னார், "சமாதானத்தை உங்களுக்கு வைத்துப்போகிறேன், என்னுடைய சமாதானத்தையே உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன், உலகம் கொடுக்கிறபிரகாரம் நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறதில்லை. உங்கள் இருதயம் கலங்காமலும் பயப்படாமலும் இருப்பதாக." நாம் கீழ்ப்படிதலுடன் அவருக்குச் சேவை செய்தால் செழிப்பு ஏற்படும் என்று பரிசுத்த வேதாகமம் மேலும் உறுதியளிக்கிறது. இந்த ஆசீர்வாதத்தை நாம் சுதந்திரமாக்கிக் கொள்வோம்: "சமாதானத்தின் கர்த்தர்தாமே எப்பொழுதும் சகலவிதத்திலும் நமக்குச் சமாதானத்தைத் தந்தருளுவாராக. கர்த்தர் நம்மனைவரோடுங்கூட இருப்பாராக."
