Today's verse says that the blessings of the Lord who made heaven and earth flow from Zion to all of His people wherever they are. Zion is synonymous with city of God, and it is a place that God loves. From Zion all the blessings flow to us when we lift up our eyes towards Him and praise Him. That's why David is urging us to praise such a God who is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. Let these words of David come true in our lives, “May the LORD bless you from Zion, that you may see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.”
வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கின கர்த்தர் சீயோனிலிருந்து உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பாராக. சங்கீதம் 134:3
வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கிய கர்த்தருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் சீயோனிலிருந்து அவர்கள் எங்கிருந்தாலும் அவருடைய மக்கள் அனைவருக்கும் பொழிகிறது என்று இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகிறது. சீயோன் கடவுளின் நகரத்திற்கு ஒத்ததாக இருக்கிறது, மேலும் அது கடவுள் விரும்பும் இடம். நாம் அவரை நோக்கி நம் கண்களை உயர்த்தி அவரைத் துதிக்கும்போது சீயோனிலிருந்து எல்லா ஆசீர்வாதங்களும் நமக்குப் பொழிகிறது. அதனால்தான் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் கடலையும் அவற்றில் உள்ள அனைத்தையும் படைத்த கடவுளைத் துதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று தாவீது வலியுறுத்துகிறார். “கர்த்தர் சீயோனிலிருந்து உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார், நீ ஜீவனுள்ள நாளெல்லாம் எருசலேமின் வாழ்வைக் காண்பாய்." என்ற தாவீதின் இந்த வார்த்தைகள் நம் வாழ்வில் நிறைவேறட்டும்.
