Today's verse is a beautiful promise that the Lord gave to Abraham when he obeyed God and followed Him faithfully. The word of God says, "the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." God called Abraham when he was a Gentile to lead a pilgrim's life in the new way that leads to the promise of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessing of God is to make us a great nation, make our name great, and bless us for every generation. God's desire to bless us is always greater than the finite acts of obedience He asks from us. Let us obey to receive God's promise, saying, "The blessing will come if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today."

இன்றைய வசனம் ஆபிரகாம் கடவுளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து அவரை உண்மையாகப் பின்பற்றியபோது கர்த்தர் கொடுத்த ஒரு அருமையான வாக்குறுதி. "ஆபிரகாமுக்கு உண்டான ஆசீர்வாதம் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினால் புறஜாதிகளுக்கு வரும்படியாகவும், ஆவியைக் குறித்துச் சொல்லப்பட்ட வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை நாம் விசுவாசத்தினாலே பெறும்படியாகவும் இப்படியாயிற்று." நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வாக்குத்தத்தத்திற்கு நடத்திச்செல்லும் புதிய வழியில் யாத்ரீக வாழ்க்கையை நடத்த ஆபிரகாம் புறஜாதியாக இருந்தபோது கடவுள் அழைத்தார். கடவுளின் ஆசீர்வாதம் நம்மை ஒரு பெரிய தேசமாக ஆக்கி, நம் பெயரைப் பெருமைப்படுத்தி, ஒவ்வொரு தலைமுறைக்கும் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிப்பதாகும். தேவன் நம்மிடம் கேட்கும், கீழ்ப்படிந்து முடிக்கக்கூடிய செயல்களை விட, நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற கடவுளின் விருப்பம், எப்போதும் பெரியது. "இன்று நான் உங்களுக்குக் கற்பிக்கிற உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் கற்பனைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தீர்களானால் ஆசீர்வாதம் வரும்", என்ற தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தத்தைப் பெறுவதற்குக் அவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவோமாக.
