Today's verse emphasizes that God draws nearer to us when we call upon Him in truth. He answers our call when we pour out our hearts to Him and cry out to Him with all our sincerity. As David tells us, God is near to the brokenhearted. James, a disciple of Jesus, also instructs us to draw near to God, assuring us that He will draw near to us in return. We place our trust in Jesus, who desires us to walk closer to Him. He cherishes a deeper and more intimate relationship with us like a true friend. Moreover, God expects us to cry out to Him in times of trouble, as He promises to deliver us from all our distress. Let us do what God asks us to do, "Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me."

நாம் அவரை உண்மையாகக் கூப்பிடும்போது கடவுள் நம்மிடம் நெருங்கி வருவார் என்பதை இன்றைய வசனம் வலியுறுத்துகிறது. நாம் நம் இதயங்களை அவரிடம் ஊற்றி, நம்முடைய முழு உள்ளத்தோடு அவரைக் கூப்பிடும்போது அவர் நம் அழைப்புக்கு பதிலளிக்கிறார். தாவீது நமக்குச் சொல்வது போல், இதயம் நொறுங்குண்டவர்கள் அருகில் கடவுள் இருக்கிறார். இயேசுவின் சீடரான ஜேம்ஸ், கடவுளிடம் நெருங்கி வருமாறு நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகிறார், பதிலுக்கு அவர் நமக்கு நெருக்கமாயிருப்பார் என்று உறுதியளிக்கிறார். நாம் இயேசுவின் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைக்கிறோம், அவர் அவரை நெருங்கி நடக்க விரும்புகிறார். அவர் ஒரு உண்மையான நண்பரைப் போல நம்முடன் ஆழமான மற்றும் நெருக்கமான உறவில் மகிழ்கிறார். அதுமட்டுமல்லாமல், நம்முடைய எல்லாத் துன்பங்களிலிருந்தும் நம்மை விடுவிப்பதாக அவர் வாக்குக் கொடுத்தபடி, ஆபத்து காலங்களில் அவரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட வேண்டும் என்று கடவுள் எதிர்பார்க்கிறார். கடவுள் நம்மிடம் கேட்பதைச் செய்வோம், "ஆபத்துக்காலத்தில் என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடு, நான் உன்னை விடுவிப்பேன், நீ என்னை மகிமைப்படுத்துவாய்."
