"Produce Good Fruits"

My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him. Psalm 62:5.

In today's verse, David emphasizes the importance of waiting in silence, with a focus on God, to receive His blessings. David experienced the power and benefit of waiting on God during his life time. He speaks to his soul regularly, both in good times and in bad. He isn't just waiting; he is waiting hopefully and expectantly for what God has promised, his salvation and his glory. He encourages us to wait on God as he says, "I wait for the Lord, my soul waits. And in His word I do hope."
