It's a comforting thought for each of us today to know that we have found grace in God's sight. Not only that, but we are also known to Him by name. Isn't it amazing to realize that God knows us by our names among all the people in the world? If He knows us by name, He also understands our needs and what we are going through in our lives. He protects us, bestows grace upon us, and provides all the good things we need for our day-to-day living. Let us join David in praising God: "For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly."
என் கண்களில் உனக்குக் கிருபை கிடைத்தது. உன்னைப் பேர்சொல்லி அழைத்து அறிந்திருக்கிறேன். யாத்திராகமம் 33:17
இன்று நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் கர்த்தருடைய பார்வையில் கிருபை கிடைத்தது என்பதை அறிவது ஆறுதலான எண்ணம். அதுமட்டுமல்லாமல், நம்மை அவருக்குப் பெயராலும் தெரியும். உலகில் உள்ள அனைத்து மக்களிடையேயும், கடவுள் நம்மை நம் பெயர்களால் அறிந்திருக்கிறார் என்று உணருவது ஆச்சரியமாக இல்லையா? அவர் நம்மைப் பெயரால் அறிந்தால், நம் தேவைகளையும், நம் வாழ்வில் நாம் எப்படிப்பட்டவைகளை கடந்து செல்லுகிறோம் என்பதையும் அவர் புரிந்துகொள்கிறார். அவர் நம்மைப் பாதுகாத்து, நம்மீது கிருபை செய்கிறார், நம் அன்றாட வாழ்க்கைக்குத் தேவையான அனைத்து நன்மைகளையும் வழங்குகிறார். நாம் கடவுளைத் துதிப்பதில் தாவீதுடன் சேர்ந்துகொள்வோம்: "தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சூரியனும் கேடகமுமானவர், கர்த்தர் கிருபையையும் மகிமையையும் அருளுவார், உத்தமமாய் நடக்கிறவர்களுக்கு நன்மையை வழங்காதிரார்."
