"The Lord has done great things"
It is amazing to see how life begins and ends on this earth. But the life given is to be lived joyfully praising God for everything. King David was so glad as he mentioned how to praise God in the previous verse of this chapter. According to him, we must praise God with our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing the greatness of God. In today's verse, David says that we need to celebrate what God has done in our lives. When we are in Christ Jesus, our hearts will be glad even in the midst of storms. We will still be celebrating the victories of God in our lives. Let us rejoice like Mary was rejoicing "For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name." (Luke 1:49)

இந்த பூமியில் வாழ்க்கை எப்படி தொடங்குகிறது மற்றும் முடிவடைகிறது என்பதைப் பார்ப்பது ஆச்சரியமாக இருக்கிறது. ஆனால் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கையில், நாம் எல்லாவற்றிற்காகவும் தேவனைப் புகழ்ந்து பேசி மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் வாழ வேண்டும். இந்த அதிகாரத்தின் முந்தைய வசனத்தில் தேவனை எப்படி துதிப்பது என்று தாவீது ராஜா குறிப்பிட்டு மிகவும் மகிழ்ந்தார். அவரது கூற்றுப்படி, நாம் சிரிப்பு நிறைந்த வாய் மற்றும், பாடல் நிறைந்த நாவுடன், தேவனின் மகத்துவத்தைப் பாடி தேவனைத் துதிக்க வேண்டும். இன்றைய வசனத்தில், தேவன் நம் வாழ்வில் செய்ததை நாம் கொண்டாட வேண்டும் என்று தாவீது ராஜா கூறுகிறார். நாம் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவில் இருக்கும்போது, வாழ்வில் வரும் புயல்களின் மத்தியிலும் நம் இதயங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியுடனிருக்கும். நாமும், நம் வாழ்வில் மரியாளைப் போல மகிழ்வுடனிருப்போம் "வல்லமையுடையவர் மகிமையானவைகளை எனக்குச் செய்தார், அவருடைய நாமம் பரிசுத்தமுள்ளது."(லூக்கா 1:49)
