"Merry Christmas"

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

In today's verse, the prophet Isaiah predicted the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ many years ago and described who He is. His name is 'Wonderful' because He is a wonder-working God; 'Counsellor' as He counsels wisely with His wisdom; 'Mighty God' means He is all-powerful; 'Everlasting' means He lives forever; 'Prince of Peace' who gives us peace in every stormy situation. When we call upon His name, He is always there to save us. As we read in the Gospel of Luke, "Today in the city of David, a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:11)

இன்றைய வசனத்தில், ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசி, கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பை பல ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பே கணித்து, அவர் யார் என்பதை விவரித்தார்.  அவர்  அதிசயங்கள்  செய்கிற தேவன் என்பதால் அவருக்கு 'அதிசயம்' என்று பெயர்;  'ஆலோசகர்' அவர் தனது ஞானத்தால் புத்திசாலித்தனமாக ஆலோசனை கூறுகிறார்;  'வல்லமையுள்ள தேவன்' என்றால் அவர் எல்லாவற்றிலும் வல்லவர்;  'என்றென்றும்' என்றால் அவர் என்றும் வாழ்கிறார்;  ஒவ்வொரு அமைதியற்ற சூழ்நிலையிலும் நமக்கு அமைதி தரும் 'சமாதானப் பிரபு'.  நாம் அவரைக் கூப்பிடும்போது, ​​அவர் நம்மை எப்போதும்      இரட்சிக்க ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கிறார்.  லூக்கா சுவிசேஷத்தில் நாம் வாசிக்கிறபடி, "இன்று கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து என்னும் இரட்சகர் உங்களுக்குத் தாவீதின் ஊரிலே பிறந்திருக்கிறார்." லூக்கா 2:11

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, Ephesians 1:3. This verse explains why and how we should praise God for every spiritual blessing. We thank and praise God for sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and to grant us eternal life. Our loving Father is full of grace, kindness, forgiveness, redemption, salvation, freedom, wisdom, and understanding. Through Jesus Christ, His Son, He shares these riches with us. This is the spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Now, let us consider how to praise Him. After recognizing who He is, we should search our hearts and keep ourselves pure and clean before our Holy God. We must worship Him with all our heart, mind, and strength, offering joyful songs. A Star shall come out of Jacob;  A Scepter shall rise out of Israel. Numbers 24:17 In today's verse, two words, 'Star' and 'Scepter' are associated with kingship. These words were foretold by prophets in the Old Testament concerning the arrival of King Jesus. He hails from Judah, a tribe of Israel, and is described as the Ruler, Lord, and King. He arrived not in a palace, but in a manger. His purpose was not to rule nations, but to destroy the kingdom of darkness through His death and resurrection. Now, He is going to return as the King of Kings, ruling nations forever. Are you ready? "How can we experience the Peace of God"

“Glory to God in the highest,  and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” This is the wonderful news from heaven for all of humanity, praising and honoring God for the birth of Jesus. Jesus is seen as a source of peace, reconciling God and humanity. God promised peace to all, and through Christ, this peace reaches the whole world. By accepting Christ and trusting Him as Savior, people can experience the peace of God. "God is Our Strong Tower"

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10. This is a precious promise of God. In this scripture, the Lord is described as a strong tower. During the time when the book of Proverbs was written, a strong tower was a place of safe refuge that was sturdily built and heavily secured. Strong towers were constructed to hold large amounts of food and supplies in those days. It is also a place where people could run for safety when threatened by the enemy. If we believe in His name and follow His commandments faithfully, we will be protected from all dangers. Whenever we call upon His name with faith, we will be protected. God's name is a place of protection. If we put our trust in Him, we can run and be safe in His secret place. King David wrote in Psalm 91 about His protection as a refuge and fortress from all evil powers of the enemy. "Obey the voice of the Lord your God"

He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor. Deuteronomy 26:19. This is a promise of blessing to the children of God. He will exalt us above the nations He has created, and He will bring praise and honor to our name if we faithfully obey God's commandments. Moses said to His people of Israel, "If you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth."  As they obediently followed His commandments and taught them to their children, God blessed them with wisdom and knowledge and lifted them above all nations. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Colossians 3:15. Each day, we must allow God’s peace to rule in our hearts. God promises us His peace, and as we focus on Him and not on ourselves, His peace becomes a constant reality. This peace is something all believers are called to experience, both individually and together, as the body of Christ. However, this peace can be blocked when our hearts are not thankful or filled with praise. A heart full of gratitude and praise prepares us to receive Christ’s peace and share it with others. The verse also reminds us of the need for unity in the body of Christ, where believers are called to work together in love and harmony.
