"Believe and Pray in Faith"

You have been pleased to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue before You forever; for You have blessed it, O Lord, and it shall be blessed forever. 1 Chronicles 17:27

In today's verse, King David states that all his blessings come from the God who blessed him forever. It was God who exalted King David, and it was God who made and fulfilled His promises to him. Like David, God wants us to pray for His blessings to be confirmed so that He will be glorified through us. For those who believe and pray in faith, God has given us the legal equivalent of a power of attorney to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible says that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, He will do so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If we ask Him anything in Jesus' name, the Lord will do it. In Psalm 37:4, King David says, "Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart."

இன்றைய வசனத்தில், தாவீது ராஜா தனது எல்லா ஆசீர்வாதங்களும் தன்னை என்றென்றும் ஆசீர்வதித்த தேவனிடமிருந்து வருவதாகக் கூறுகிறார். தாவீது ராஜாவை மேன்மைப்படுத்தியவர் தேவன், அவருக்கு அளித்த வாக்குறுதிகளை நிறைவேற்றியவர் தேவன். தாவீதைப் போலவே, அவர் நம் மூலம் மகிமைப்படுத்தப்படுவதற்கு அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும் என்று நாம் ஜெபிக்க வேண்டும் என்று தேவன் விரும்புகிறார். விசுவாசித்து, விசுவாசதினால் ஜெபிப்பவர்களுக்கு, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தில் ஜெபிக்க ஒரு பவர் ஆஃப் அட்டர்னிக்கு சமமான சட்டப்பூர்வ உரிமையை தேவன் நமக்கு அளித்துள்ளார். இயேசுவின் நாமத்தினாலே நாம் எதைக் கேட்டாலும், பிதா குமாரனில் மகிமைப்படும்படி தேவன் அதைச் செய்வார் என்று பரிசுத்த வேதாகமம் கூறுகிறது. இயேசுவின் பெயரில் நாம் எதையாவது கேட்டால், தேவன் அதைச் செய்வார். சங்கீதம் 37:4-ல் தாவீது ராஜா, “கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு; அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை உனக்கு அருள்செய்வார்.” என்று கூறுகிறார்.
