"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper" - The Lord.


Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2.

In today's verse, Apostle John, the beloved disciple of Jesus, prayed for three types of blessings: prosperity, physical health, and spiritual well-being. God desires our overall success, including good health and wealth. Moreover, God provides blessings in our spiritual life, bringing the joy of salvation and bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit, such as love, joy, and peace. It is crucial to live victoriously, rejoicing in the Lord always, as such a life brings the greatest blessings and peace to our souls. In Ephesians 1:3, Apostle Paul says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”

பிரியமானவனே, உன் ஆத்துமா வாழ்கிறதுபோல நீ எல்லாவற்றிலும் வாழ்ந்து சுகமாயிருக்கும்படி வேண்டுகிறேன். 3 யோவான் 1:2

இன்றைய வசனத்தில், இயேசுவின் அன்பான சீடரான அப்போஸ்தலன் யோவான் செல்வம், உடல் ஆரோக்கியம் மற்றும் ஆன்மீக நல்வாழ்வு ஆகிய மூன்று வகையான ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காக ஜெபித்தார். நல்ல ஆரோக்கியம் மற்றும் செல்வம் உட்பட நமது ஒட்டுமொத்த வெற்றியை தேவன் விரும்புகிறார். மேலும், தேவன் நம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையில் ஆசீர்வாதங்களை வழங்குகிறார், இரட்சிப்பின் மகிழ்ச்சியைக் கொண்டுவருகிறார், அன்பு, சந்தோஷம் மற்றும் சமாதானம் போன்ற பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் கனிகளைக் கொடுக்க வைக்கிறார் . எப்பொழுதும் தேவனில் மகிழ்ந்து, வெற்றியுடன் வாழ்வது மிகவும் முக்கியமானது, அத்தகைய வாழ்க்கை நமது ஆன்மாக்களுக்கு மிகப்பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதத்தையும் சமாதானத்தையும் தருகிறது. எபேசியர் 1:3 -ல், அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் கூறுகிறார், “நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்; அவர் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் உன்னதங்களிலே ஆவிக்குரிய சகல ஆசீர்வாதத்தினாலும் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதித்திருக்கிறார்.”

That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24. The answer to our prayers is prepared before we pray. He is more ready to hear than we are to pray! While we are praying to Him, He hears, answers, and grants our requests, and more, just as He did for Daniel. Gabriel, an angel from God, brought God’s answer to Daniel. At the moment Daniel began praying, God sent this messenger to speak to him (Daniel 9:20-23). This shows the Lord’s readiness to help and assist us in times of trouble or fear and is a great encouragement to approach the throne of grace constantly. He has made large and firm promises of answer when we pray. Yet, sometimes, His answer is a refusal; other times, it is a delay, and at other times, it is the gift of something we did not even ask for. “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”   and so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Hebrews 6:14 Today's verse is a promise of God to His people who follow Him faithfully. God promised Abraham that all the families of the earth would be blessed in him. Later, God reaffirmed his promise, telling Abraham his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore and his descendants will possess the gates of their enemies. Today the same God wants to bless us when we obey His voice as Abraham did. "Blog Y2 025 - Embrace God's wisdom for eternal life."

He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good. Proverbs 19:8. This scripture talks about how to love ourselves. We love our own soul by protecting and guarding it from self-oppression. We need to save our souls from eternal death, and only then we can help others. How will we save others if we don’t have the wisdom to save ourselves? We must embrace godly wisdom and understanding. Divine wisdom is God's perfect, eternal knowledge and understanding, guiding us in truth and righteousness and aligning our lives with His will. As we do this, we are actively loving our own soul! How do we save our soul? Remember that Jesus said if we try to save our earthly lives, we will lose them. But if we lose our lives for Jesus' sake and the gospel’s sake, we will save them. Oh, taste and see that the  Lord   is  good;  Blessed  is  the man  who  trusts in Him! Psalm 34:8 In this verse David shares his personal experience of how he tasted and saw the goodness of God in his life. He also says how he is blessed when he puts his trusts in the Lord. The phrase taste and see, simply means "try and experience." As David tasted the love of God, we all should try and experience it personally to know how good He is. Additionally, we can focus on God's goodness by focusing on His word. When we trust Him and walk in His word, we will receive His blessings in all the areas of our lives. Good advice is essential for sound decision-making, and it should come from wise counselors. Without counsel, plans fail, but with many advisers, we will succeed. The Bible mentions kings who, by listening to wise people like Joseph and Daniel, were able to save their nations. God has given us the ability to learn and grow from one another. We gain wisdom by listening to others.  Seeking advice requires humility—it means admitting that we do not know everything and that others may have valuable insights. I drew them with gentle cords, with bands of love, and I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck. I stooped and fed them. Hosea 11:4. Just as a father loves his son, so God loved Israel and delivered His people from slavery in Egypt. Though they turned to idols, God’s love remained, and He cared for them. He demonstrated His love by sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for us. Through His teachings, suffering, and death, He redeems and transforms us, binding us to Himself. In return, we are called to love Him for all He has done and continues to do. He desires a close relationship with us daily. Will you love God and seek a closer relationship with Him for all He has done for you?
