"Jesus Christ, died for our sins"

Have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8

In today's verse, Apostle Peter says that the power of God's love will cover a multitude of sins, showing us how deeply He loves us. God sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and save us. The love of Christ is unconditional. King David says that as far as the East is from the West, our Heavenly Father has removed our sins from us. Surely, we should forgive others' mistakes in the same way God has forgiven our sins. God expects us to continue showing deep love for one another.  Apostle Paul says in Romans 12:10, "Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another."

இன்றைய வசனத்தில், அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பேதுரு, தேவனுடைய அன்பின் வல்லமை பல பாவங்களை மறைக்கும் என்று கூறி, அவர் நம்மை எவ்வளவு ஆழமாக நேசிக்கிறார் என்பதைக் காட்டுகிறார்,. தேவன் தம்முடைய ஒரே குமாரனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை நம்முடைய பாவங்களுக்காக மரித்து நம்மை இரட்சிக்க அனுப்பினார். கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பு நிபந்தனையற்றது. மேற்கிலிருந்து கிழக்கு எவ்வளவு தூரம் இருக்கிறதோ, அவ்வளவு தூரம் நம்முடைய பரலோகத் தகப்பன் நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நம்மிடமிருந்து நீக்கிவிட்டார் என்று தாவீது ராஜா கூறுகிறார். நிச்சயமாக, தேவன் நம் பாவங்களை மன்னித்ததைப் போலவே மற்றவர்களின் தவறுகளையும் நாம் மன்னிக்க வேண்டும். நாம் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் ஆழ்ந்த அன்பைக் காட்டுவதை தேவன் எதிர்பார்க்கிறார். அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் ரோமர் 12:10 -ல், “சகோதர சிநேகத்திலே ஒருவர்மேலொருவர் பட்சமாயிருங்கள்; கனம்பண்ணுகிறதிலே ஒருவருக்கொருவர் முந்திக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.” என்று கூறுகிறார்.

Despite their distress, the Israelites continue to affirm their trust in God's power and His sovereignty over their enemies. It is a declaration of their faith in God's ability to deliver them from their troubles and grant them victory. We see God's protection, power, and victory over everything. We know how David killed Goliath in the name of the Lord. The psalmist says that we shall tread upon the lion and the cobra; the young lion and the serpent we shall trample underfoot with God’s authority. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 1 John 4:12. The Apostle John reminds us that no one has seen God in His true form because He is a spiritual being, and our human eyes can only perceive physical things. Like the wind, God is invisible. Even in the Bible, when figures like Abraham or Gideon encountered God or angels, they did not see God's full nature. Today, we don’t need to physically see God to know Him. When we love one another, we "see" God through our actions. When we show love, God abides in us, and His love helps us grow spiritually. Whatever is incomplete or imperfect in our lives, God's love fills those gaps. His love is the greatest gift, providing everything we need to live for Him and to love others. This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 Each day is a precious gift from God; despite the challenges we face, God has called us to rejoice and be glad in it.  To maintain joy every day, we can follow five steps:   1. Seek His face with all our hearts before starting the day.  2. Express our gratitude and praise to Him with hearts overflowing with thanksgiving. 3. Love Him by meditating on His word day and night.  4. Find contentment in Him by counting our blessings.  5. "We need to submit ourselves to Christ"

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2. One of the best thoughts to meditate on is keeping our minds on things that are above (heaven), not on things that are on the earth. As heaven and earth are far apart, they cannot be considered together; affection for one will weaken the other. It is a choice in front of us: whether we choose good or evil, life or death. Choosing evil things will lead us towards death without hope of eternal heaven. Choosing good things will take us to heaven the eternal life. To choose life, we need to seek God, obey His word, and faithfully follow Him. We need to submit ourselves to Christ to be renewed day by day. Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men! Psalm 31:19. In this Psalm, King David praises God for His goodness and abundant blessings stored up for those who fear and trust Him. God’s goodness reflects His generosity, extending far beyond anything we can imagine, demonstrating His infinitely generous attitude toward us. The psalmist declares that the Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. By nature, God desires to bring joy and blessings to all His creation. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2. In today's verse, Apostle John, the beloved disciple of Jesus, prayed for three types of blessings: prosperity, physical health, and spiritual well-being. God desires our overall success, including good health and wealth. Moreover, God provides blessings in our spiritual life, bringing the joy of salvation and bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit, such as love, joy, and peace. It is crucial to live victoriously, rejoicing in the Lord always, as such a life brings the greatest blessings and peace to our souls.
