"Deliver the poor and needy"

For the needy shall not always be forgotten; The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever. Psalm 9:18

Today's verse shows us that God's heart is filled with compassion. He saves us from the dangers of the world and from eternal death. This challenges us to be kind and caring like God, treating others with His unconditional love, especially those who are vulnerable. We are often selfish in many areas of our lives, wanting to protect only ourselves without considering others. However, God expects us to help the needy and those in spiritual darkness through prayer and intercession.  King David prays in Psalm 82:4, "Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked."

எளியவன் என்றைக்கும் மறக்கப்படுவதில்லை; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய நம்பிக்கை ஒருபோதும் கெட்டுப்போவதில்லை. சங்கீதம் 9:18

இன்றைய வசனம் தேவனுடைய இருதயம் இரக்கத்தால் நிரம்பியுள்ளது என்பதைக் காட்டுகிறது. உலகத்தின் ஆபத்துகளிலிருந்தும் நித்திய மரணத்திலிருந்தும் அவர் நம்மைக் காப்பாற்றுகிறார். கடவுளைப் போல அன்பாகவும் அக்கறையுடனும் இருக்கவும், மற்றவர்களை, குறிப்பாக பாதிக்கப்படக்கூடியவர்களை,  அவருடைய நிபந்தனையற்ற அன்புடன் நடத்தவும், தேவனுடைய இரக்கம் நம்மை அழைக்கிறது . நாம் பெரும்பாலும் நம் வாழ்வின் பல பகுதிகளில் சுயநலமாக இருக்கிறோம், மற்றவர்களைக் கருத்தில் கொள்ளாமல் நம்மை மட்டுமே பாதுகாக்க விரும்புகிறோம். இருப்பினும், தேவைப்படுபவர்களுக்கும் ஆன்மீக இருளில் உள்ளவர்களுக்கும் ஜெபம் மற்றும் மன்றாட்டு ஜெபத்தின் மூலம் உதவ வேண்டும் என்று தேவன் எதிர்பார்க்கிறார். தாவீது ராஜா சங்கீதம் 82:4 இல், "பலவீனனையும் எளியவனையும் விடுவித்து, துன்மார்க்கரின் கைக்கு அவர்களைத் தப்புவியுங்கள்." என்று ஜெபிக்கிறார்.
