"Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray!"

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2.

Today's verse reminds us of the importance of prayer, urging us to engage in it continuously, earnestly, watchfully, vigilantly, and with gratitude towards God. Apostle Paul wrote to the people of Thessalonica in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, 18, "Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." We need to maintain alertness and focus in our prayer life with an attitude of thanksgiving. Without continuous connection with God, we fall into the enemy's snares, losing our peace and joy. In Matthew 26:41, Jesus advises Apostle Peter to "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."

இடைவிடாமல் ஜெபம்பண்ணுங்கள், ஸ்தோத்திரத்துடன் ஜெபத்தில் விழித்திருங்கள். கொலோசெயர் 4:2.

இன்றைய வசனம் ஜெபத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது, தொடர்ந்து, ஆர்வத்துடன், தெளிவுடன், விழிப்புடன், கடவுளுக்கு நன்றியுடன் நாம் ஜெபிக்க வேணடும் என்று வலியுறுத்துகிறது. அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய  பவுல் தெசலோனிக்கேய மக்களை I தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 5:17, 18 -ல், “இடைவிடாமல் ஜெபம்பண்ணுங்கள்.எல்லாவற்றிலேயும் ஸ்தோத்திரஞ்செய்யுங்கள்; அப்படிச் செய்வதே கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் உங்களைக்குறித்து தேவனுடைய சித்தமாயிருக்கிறது.” என்று ஊக்குவிக்கிறார். நாம் விழிப்புடன் இருந்து, நன்றி மனப்பான்மையுடன் நமது ஜெப வாழ்க்கையில் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும். கடவுளுடன் தொடர்ச்சியான தொடர்பு இல்லாமல், நாம் எதிரியின் கண்ணியில் விழுந்து, நமது அமைதியையும் மகிழ்ச்சியையும் இழக்கிறோம். மத்தேயு 26:41 -ல், இயேசு அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பேதுருவுக்கு அறிவுரை கூறுகிறார், “நீங்கள் சோதனைக்குட்படாதபடிக்கு விழித்திருந்து ஜெபம்பண்ணுங்கள்; ஆவி உற்சாகமுள்ளதுதான், மாம்சமோ பலவீனமுள்ளது என்றார்.”
