"Two sides of God - Love and Justice"

Deal bountifully with Your servant, That I may live and keep Your word. Psalm 119:17.

Here, in this verse, King David asks for God's mercy over his life so that he may live longer and declare God's word. He knew very well that no one can stand before the wrath of God. When King David sinned against God, he cried out to God for mercy, knowing the two sides of God: Love and Justice. In Psalm 51, he admitted his mistakes, obtained God's forgiveness, and reconciled with Him. That's why he says, “Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.” (Psalm 119:11). Today, in our lives, we make mistakes, but when we admit and turn away from our wicked ways, He forgives us and accepts us just as we are. In Psalm 69:16, David said, “Hear me, O LORD, for Your lovingkindness is good; Turn to me according to the multitude of Your tender mercies.”
