"God's Promise: Strength, Refuge, Protection, Shade."

For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat; Isaiah 25:4.

This is a great promise of God: He is a place of safety and protection for us when we are weak and in need. He is our strength and refuge when we suffer from fear, anxiety, sorrow, and pain as we trust Him. The prophet Isaiah says in today's verse that there are four different ways God strengthens and protects us when the storm hits against us if we trust Him. 

The ways are:

1. A strength to the poor,
2. A strength to the needy in his distress, 
3. A refuge from the storm,
4. A shade from the heat.  

God expects us to trust Him no matter what comes against us. King David says in Psalm 27:5, "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock."

நீர் ஏழைக்குப் பெலனும், நெருக்கப்படுகிற எளியவனுக்குத் திடனும், பெருவெள்ளத்துக்குத் தப்பும் அடைக்கலமும், வெயிலுக்கு ஒதுங்கும் நிழலுமானீர். ஏசாயா 25:4.

இது தேவனின் மாபெரும் வாக்குத்தத்தம்: நாம் பலவீனமாகவும், தேவையுடனும் இருக்கும்போது அவர் நமக்குப் பாதுகாப்பு கொடுக்கும் இடமாக இருக்கிறார். நாம் பயம், பதட்டம், துக்கம், வேதனை ஆகியவற்றால் அவதிப்படும்போது, ​​அவரை நம்பும் நமக்கு பலமாகவும் அடைக்கலமாகவும் இருக்கிறார். எசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசி இன்றைய வசனத்தில் நாம் தேவனிடத்தில் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டால், புயல் நமக்கு எதிராக அடிக்கும் போது நம்மை பலப்படுத்தி பாதுகாக்க  நான்கு வழிகள் உள்ளன என்று கூறுகிறார். 

அந்த வழிகளாவன: 1. ஏழைகளுக்குப் பெலனும், 2. நெருக்கப்படுகிற எளியவனுக்குத் திடனும், 3. பெரும் புயல் மற்றும் பெரும் வெள்ளத்துக்கு அடைக்கலமாகவும், 4. வெயிலுக்கு ஒதுங்கும் நிழலுமாயிருக்கிறார்

நமக்கு எதிராக எது வந்தாலும் நாம் அவரை நம்ப வேண்டும் என்று தேவன்  எதிர்பார்க்கிறார். சங்கீதம் 27:5-ல் தாவீது ராஜா கூறுகிறார், “தீங்குநாளில் அவர் என்னைத் தம்முடைய கூடாரத்தில் மறைத்து, என்னைத் தமது கூடார மறைவிலே ஒளித்துவைத்து, என்னைக் கன்மலையின்மேல் உயர்த்துவார்.”
