"Jesus came to save the Lost"

It is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. Matthew 18:14.

This scripture reveals the heart of God. If we were in His place, we might take it easy and not concern ourselves with the one sheep that is lost, as we still have the ninety-nine with us. But our heavenly Father has a heart for the one that is lost.  As we are priceless, God cannot afford to lose us. That's why He didn't spare His own Son but handed Him over to death for all of us. One thing that God cannot bear is to see people perish in eternal hell, despite allowing His own Son to die on the cross. That's why the Son of Man came: to seek and save the lost. In Mark 2:17, He (Jesus) said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

இந்தச் சிறியரில் ஒருவனாகிலும் கெட்டுப்போவது பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற உங்கள் பிதாவின் சித்தமல்ல. மத்தேயு 18:14.

இந்த வசனம் தேவனுடைய இருதயத்தை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. அவருடைய இடத்தில் நாம் இருந்தால், தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது ஆடுகளும்  நம்மிடம் இருப்பதால், தொலைந்துபோன ஒரே ஆட்டைப்  பற்றி கவலைப்படாமல், நாம் எளிதாக எடுத்துக்கொள்ளலாம். ஆனால் நம் பரம பிதா தொலைந்து போன ஒன்றுக்காக கவலைப்படுகிறார். நாம் விலைமதிப்பற்றவர்களாக இருப்பதால், தேவன் நம்மை இழக்க விரும்பவில்லை. அதனால்தான் அவர் தம்முடைய சொந்த குமாரனென்றும்  பாராமல், நம் அனைவருக்காகவும் அவரை மரணத்திற்கு  ஒப்படைத்தார். தேவன், தம்முடைய சொந்த குமாரனை சிலுவையில் இறக்க அனுமதித்த போதிலும், மக்கள் பாவம் செய்து நித்திய நரகத்தில் அழிந்து போவதைக் காண்பது, தேவனால் தாங்க முடியாத ஒரு விஷயமாகும். அதனால்தான் மனுஷகுமாரன் இழந்து  போனதைத் தேடவும் இரட்சிக்கவும் வந்தார். மாற்கு 2:17 -ல் “இயேசு அதைக் கேட்டு: பிணியாளிகளுக்கு வைத்தியன் வேண்டியதேயல்லாமல் சுகமுள்ளவர்களுக்கு வேண்டியதில்லை; நீதிமான்களையல்ல, பாவிகளையே மனந்திரும்புகிறதற்கு அழைக்கவந்தேன் என்றார்.”
