"Jesus offers rest, light burdens."

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. Matthew 11:29-30.

This verse tells us about the rest and freedom we receive from Jesus when we are willing to take His burden upon us. No doubt, Jesus is burdened for the perishing souls. Jesus is telling us that when we come to Him with heavy hearts, burdens, and deep sorrows, He calls each of us to learn how to handle challenges and heavy burdens that we cannot bear otherwise. He says that when we are willing to take His burden upon us and learn from Him, we find peace and rest within ourselves. Until we are willing to do His work and share His burden, the troubles and challenges of this world seem too heavy for us to bear. But when we are willing, we learn to exchange our sorrows and pains for His burden, which is light and easy on us.  It's possible because in Philippians 4:13, Apostle Paul says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
