"Sacrificial love: God's profound gift"

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32.

Let's observe what God has done for us. God gives us hope that He will provide everything necessary for our lives. Even though Jesus was His only Son, God did not consider Him too precious, but gave Him as a sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins, granting us the free gift of salvation. And it doesn't end there; along with Jesus, other blessings necessary for our lives have also come. The phrase 'did not spare His own Son' reveals the deep love God has for mankind. It signifies an exchange that took place to spare us from eternal death.  Though He was God's own Son, yet, being made sin for us, it pleased the Lord to bruise him. In  Isaiah 53:10, the prophet Isaiah  says, “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him.”

தம்முடைய சொந்தக்குமாரனென்றும் பாராமல் நம்மெல்லாருக்காகவும் அவரை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தவர், அவரோடேகூட மற்ற எல்லாவற்றையும் நமக்கு அருளாதிருப்பதெப்படி? ரோமர் 8:32.

தேவன்  நமக்காக என்ன செய்திருக்கிறார் என்பதைக் கவனிப்போம். நம் வாழ்க்கைக்குத் தேவையான அனைத்தையும் அவர் வழங்குவார் என்ற நம்பிக்கையை அளிக்கிறார். இயேசு அவருடைய ஒரே மகனாக இருந்தாலும், தேவன்  அவரை மிகவும் நேசத்துக்குரியவராக கருதாமல் நம்முடைய பாவங்களுக்கான தண்டனையை செலுத்துவதற்காக அவரை ஒரு ஜீவ பலியாகக் கொடுத்தார், அதன்மூலம் நாம் இரட்சிப்பை இலவசமாக பெற்றுக்கொண்டோம். அதுவுமல்லாமல், இயேசுவோடு சேர்ந்து, நம் வாழ்விற்கு தேவையான மற்ற ஆசீர்வாதங்களும் வந்துள்ளன. 'தம்முடைய சொந்தக்குமாரனென்றும் பாராமல்' என்ற சொற்றொடர் தேவன்  மனிதகுலத்தின் மீது வைத்திருக்கும் ஆழமான அன்பை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. நித்திய மரணத்திலிருந்து நம்மை விடுவிப்பதற்காக நடந்த ஒரு பரிமாற்றத்தை இது குறிக்கிறது. அவர் தேவனுடைய சொந்த குமாரனாக இருந்தும், அவரை நமக்காகப் பாவமாக்கி, காயப்படுத்துவது  கர்த்தருக்குப் சித்தமாயிருந்தது. ஏசாயா 53:10 -ல், ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசி கூறுகிறார், “கர்த்தரோ அவரை நொறுக்கச் சித்தமாகி, அவரைப் பாடுகளுக்குட்படுத்தினார்”
