"Believers, you have overcome the world."

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4.

In this scripture, Apostle John refers to "little children" as young believers who are growing in the Lord every day.

He encourages the believers as below:

1.  Saying, "You are of God," which means they are of His family; they have embraced His truth, and His Spirit dwells with them.

2.  He mentions that these believers have "Overcome them," meaning they have taken victory over the evil one and the world.

3. He reminds us that the power of Christ, who lives in the believer, is greater than the power of the world. The Holy Spirit living in us is far stronger than any attack by the evil one.

This scripture should empower us today not to fear the enemy but to trust the Lord and obey His commands. In this way, we can overcome the powers of darkness and walk with boldness in our life. 1 John 2:14 says, "I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one."

பிள்ளைகளே, நீங்கள் தேவனால் உண்டாயிருந்து, அவர்களை ஜெயித்தீர்கள்; ஏனெனில் உலகத்திலிருக்கிறவனிலும் உங்களிலிருக்கிறவர் பெரியவர். 1 யோவான் 4:4.

இந்த வசனத்தில், அப்போஸ்தலன் யோவான், ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் கர்த்தருக்குள் வளர்ந்து வரும் இளம் விசுவாசிகளை "சிறு பிள்ளைகளே" என்று குறிப்பிடுகிறார். 

அவர் விசுவாசிகளை இவ்விதமாக ஊக்குவிக்கிறார்:

1. "நீங்கள் தேவனால் உண்டானவர்கள்," அதாவது அவர்கள் அவருடைய குடும்பத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள், அவர்கள் அவருடைய சத்தியத்தைத் தழுவிக்கொண்டார்கள், அவருடைய ஆவியானவர் அவர்களுடன் வாசம் செய்கிறார் யென்று.

2.  இந்த விசுவாசிகள் "அவைகளை ஜெயித்தார்கள்" என்று அவர்  குறிப்பிடுகிறார், அதாவது அவர்கள் தீயவற்றையும் உலகத்தையும்  வென்றிருக்கிறார்கள்.

3. விசுவாசிக்குள் வாழும் கிறிஸ்துவின் வல்லமை உலகத்தின்  வல்லமையை விட பெரியது என்பதை அவர் நமக்கு   நினைவூட்டுகிறார். தீயவனின் எந்த தாக்குதலையும் விட நம்மில் வாழும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் மிகவும் வலிமையானவர்.

 இந்த வசனம் இன்று சத்துருவுக்கு பயப்படாமல் கர்த்தரை நம்பி அவருடைய கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிய நமக்கு அதிகாரம் அளிக்கின்றது. இந்த வழியில், இருளின் சக்திகளை வென்று நம் வாழ்வில் தைரியத்துடன் நடக்க முடியும். 1யோவா 2:14 சொல்லுகிறது: "பிதாக்களே, ஆதிமுதலிருக்கிறவரை நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறதினால் உங்களுக்கு எழுதியிருக்கிறேன். வாலிபரே, நீங்கள் பலவான்களாயிருக்கிறதினாலும், தேவவசனம் உங்களில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறதினாலும், நீங்கள் பொல்லாங்கனை ஜெயித்ததினாலும், உங்களுக்கு எழுதியிருக்கிறேன்.”
