"Jesus promises answered prayers in faith."

If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:14.

In this chapter, Apostle John describes how Jesus was preparing His disciples for His departure from earth and encouraging them not to lose hope but to trust in His name. He promised that whatever we ask in His name, He will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. One of the miracles Jesus performed involved blind Bartimaeus, a man with faith, who cried out and called upon the name of Jesus. Jesus answered his call and restored his sight. Jesus still answers prayers when we ask in His name according to His will, for the purpose of glorifying Father. He is our prayer-answering God, full of mercy and compassion. He speaks about the relationship we have with the Father through Jesus, for the glorification of His name. John 15:16 says, "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."

என் நாமத்தினாலே நீங்கள் எதைக்கேட்டாலும் அதை நான் செய்வேன். யோவான் 14:14.

இந்த அதிகாரத்தில், அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய யோவான், இயேசு தம்முடைய சீஷர்களை பூமியை விட்டுப் புறப்படுவதற்கு எவ்வாறு ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினார் என்பதையும், நம்பிக்கையை இழக்காமல், அவருடைய நாமத்தில் நம்பிக்கை வைக்க அவர்களை ஊக்குவித்தார் என்பதையும் விவரிக்கிறார். அவருடைய நாமத்தினாலே நாம் எதைக் கேட்டாலும், பிதா குமாரனில் மகிமைப்படும்படி, அவர் செய்வார் என்று அவர் வாக்குறுதி அளித்தார். இயேசு செய்த அற்புதங்களில் ஒன்று, பர்திமேயு என்ற குருடன் விசுவாசத்தோடு சத்தமிட்டு இயேசுவே என்று அவர்  பெயரைக் கூப்பிட்டான். இயேசு அவனது அழைப்பை ஏற்று அவனுக்குப் பார்வையைத் தந்தார். பிதாவை  மகிமைப்படுத்தும் நோக்கத்திற்காக, அவருடைய சித்தத்தின்படி அவருடைய நாமத்தில் நாம் கேட்கும்போது இயேசு இன்னும் ஜெபங்களுக்கு பதிலளிக்கிறார். அவர் நமது ஜெபத்திற்கு பதிலளிக்கும் தேவன், இரக்கமும், மன  உருக்கமும் நிறைந்தவர். அவருடைய நாமத்தை மகிமைப்படுத்துவதற்காக, இயேசுவின் மூலமாக பிதாவுடன் நமக்கு உள்ள உறவைப் பற்றி அவர் பேசுகிறார்.  யோவான் 15:16 சொல்லுகிறது, "நீங்கள் என்னைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை, நான் உங்களைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டேன்; நீங்கள் என் நாமத்தினாலே பிதாவைக் கேட்டுக்கொள்வது எதுவோ, அதை அவர் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கத்தக்கதாக நீங்கள் போய்க் கனிகொடுக்கும்படிக்கும், உங்கள் கனி நிலைத்திருக்கும்படிக்கும், நான் உங்களை ஏற்படுத்தினேன்."
