"United in death, reborn in resurrection."

If we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection. Romans 6:5.

Apostle Paul emphasizes that our lives are dead to sin and alive to God. We are identified with Jesus in His death and resurrection, thereby breaking the power of sin over us. Despite this truth, we often forget, yield to temptations, and commit sin. Paul illustrates that our life in Christ contrasts sharply with a life of sin. Through our union with Him, profound changes occur within our hearts, leading to transformation. This transformed life manifests as a journey characterized by walking in love and freedom. It serves as a tangible demonstration of our new position in Christ, forming the foundation for holy living.  2 Corinthians 4:14 says, “knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you.”

அவருடைய மரணத்தின் சாயலில் நாம் இணைக்கப் பட்டவர்களானால், அவர் உயிர்த்தெழுதலின் சாயலிலும் இணைக்கப்பட்டிருப்போம். ரோமர் 6:5.

நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கை, பாவத்திற்குச் செத்து, தேவனுக்குப்  பிழைதிருப்பதாக அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் வலியுறுத்துகிறார். இயேசுவின் மரணம் மற்றும் உயிர்த்தெழுதலில் நாம் அவருடன் இணைக்கப் படுகிறோம், அதன் மூலம் நம்மீதான பாவத்தின் வல்லமையை ஜெயிக்கிறோம். இந்த உண்மை இருந்தபோதிலும், நாம் அடிக்கடி மறந்து, சோதனைகளுக்குட்பட்டு, பாவம் செய்கிறோம். கிறிஸ்துவில் நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கைக்கும் பாவத்தின் வாழ்க்கைக்கும்  அதிகமாக வேறுபாடுள்ளது என்பதை பவுல் விளக்குகிறார். அவருடன் நாம் இணைவதன் மூலம், நமது இதயத்தில் ஆழமான மாற்றங்கள் ஏற்படும். இந்த மாற்றப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கை அன்பிலும், பரிசுத்தத்திலும் நடப்பதன் மூலம் நிர்ணயிக்கப்படும் ஒரு பயணமாக வெளிப்படுகிறது. இது கிறிஸ்துவில் நமது புதிய மாற்றத்தை  உறுதிபடுத்துவதாகச் செயல்படுகிறது. இது பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கைக்கான அஸ்திபாரத்தை உருவாக்குகிறது. 2 கொரிந்தியர் 4:14 கூறுகிறது, "கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவை எழுப்பினவர் எங்களையும் இயேசுவைக்கொண்டு எழுப்பி, உங்களுடனேகூடத் தமக்குமுன்பாக நிறுத்துவாரென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்."
