Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven, their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 18:10.
Jesus is talking about the one sheep that was lost out of the ninety-nine. The idea here is the value that Jesus placed on each individual, even though he or she has nothing to do with God, the Father in heaven. We have no right to consider anyone low because that person is not following God. The angelic representation in the presence of God simply tells us that they have a place in heaven. It's up to them to respond to the Shepherd's call. Because they are away from God, they are no way lower than the one who considers himself or herself Godly. Our Godliness doesn't allow us to consider anyone low because of their option of not choosing to follow God. Our responsibility is to reach out and encourage them to come to the fold. The Shepherd is still waiting with his arms wide open; it's never too late to come to Him. Today is the day of Salvation. In John 10:16, Jesus says, "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."
இந்தச் சிறியரில் ஒருவனையும் அற்பமாய் எண்ணாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; அவர்களுக்குரிய தேவதூதர்கள் பரலோகத்திலே என் பரமபிதாவின் சமுகத்தை எப்போதும் தரிசிக்கிறார்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். மத்தேயு 18:10.
தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது ஆடுகளில் காணாமல் போன ஒரு ஆட்டைப் பற்றி இயேசு பேசுகிறார். பரம பிதாவாகிய தேவனுடன் சிலருக்கு எந்த தொடர்பும் இல்லை என்றாலும், ஒவ்வொரு நபர்மீதும் இயேசு மதிப்பு வைத்திருக்கிறார் என்பதே கருத்து. அந்த நபர் கடவுளைப் பின்பற்றவில்லை என்பதற்காக யாரையும் தாழ்வாகக் கருத நமக்கு உரிமை இல்லை. தேவனின் முன்னிலையில் தேவதூதர்களின் பிரதிநிதித்துவம் அவர்களுக்குப் பரலோகத்தில் ஒரு இடம் இருப்பதாக நமக்குச் சொல்கிறது. மேய்ப்பனின் அழைப்புக்குப் பதிலளிப்பது அவர்களைப் பொறுத்தது. அவர்கள் தேவனிடமிருந்து விலகி இருப்பதால், தங்களை தெய்வீகமாகக் கருதுகிறவர்களை விட அவர்கள் எந்த வகையிலும் தாழ்ந்தவர்கள் அல்ல. தேவனைப் பின்பற்ற விரும்பாததால் எவரையும் தாழ்ந்தவர் என்று நினைக்க நமது தேவபக்தி நம்மை அனுமதிக்காது. அவர்களை அணுகி தேவனுடைய மந்தையில் சேர ஊக்குவிப்பதே நமது பொறுப்பு. மேய்ப்பன் இன்னும் தன் கைகளை அகல விரித்தபடி காத்திருக்கிறார்; அவரிடம் செல்ல இது ஒருபோதும் தாமதமாகாது. இன்றே இரட்ச்சிப்பின் நாள். யோவான் 10:16 -ல் இயேசு, "இந்தத் தொழுவத்திலுள்ளவைகளல்லாமல் வேறே ஆடுகளும் எனக்கு உண்டு; அவைகளையும் நான் கொண்டுவரவேண்டும், அவைகள் என் சத்தத்துக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கும், அப்பொழுது ஒரே மந்தையும் ஒரே மேய்ப்பனுமாகும்.” என்று கூறுகிறார்.
