"Walk safely with wisdom and discretion."

Keep sound wisdom and discretion. Then, you will walk safely in your way, and your foot will not stumble. Proverbs 3:21, 23.

King Solomon mentions the benefits of sound wisdom and discretion. While wisdom implies the ability to act on knowledge, discretion is the capacity to carefully assess something. He states that God will enable us to walk safely without stumbling if we are wise and discerning. Danger and hardship come even to those who follow God. However, with sound wisdom and discretion, we can find safety. The Bible recounts that Joshua urged his generation to make the right decision, the one he had made. He declared that he and his household would serve the Lord, challenging the Israelites to choose whom they would serve. Additionally, King David states in Psalm 23 that we do not walk alone through life. Our Good Shepherd, Jesus, walks with us. Not only does He walk with us, but He also walks in front of us. He leads us beside still waters and in the paths of righteousness. Psalm 23:4 says, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."

சாலொமோன் ராஜா நல்ல ஞானம் மற்றும் விவேகத்தின் நன்மைகளைக் குறிப்பிடுகிறார். ஞானம் என்பது அறிவின் அடிப்படையில் செயல்படும் திறனைக் குறிக்கும், அதே வேளையில், விவேகம் என்பது எதையாவது கவனமாக மதிப்பிடும் திறன் ஆகும். நாம் ஞானமுள்ளவர்களாகவும் விவேகமுள்ளவர்களாகவும் இருந்தால், தேவன் நாம் தடுமாறாமல் பாதுகாப்பாக நடக்க உதவுவார் என்று அவர் கூறினார். தேவனைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்களுக்குக்கூட ஆபத்தும் கஷ்டமும் வரும். இருந்தாலும், நல்ல ஞானம் மற்றும் விவேகத்துடன் இருந்தால் நம்மால் பாதுகாப்பைக் கண்டடைய முடியும். யோசுவா தான் எடுத்த சரியான தீர்மானத்தை எடுக்கும்படி தன் தலைமுறையை உற்சாகப்படுத்தியதாக பரிசுத்த வேதாகமம் விவரிக்கிறது. தானும் தன் வீட்டாரும் கர்த்தருக்கு சேவை செய்வோம் என்று அறிவித்து, யாரை சேவிக்க வேண்டும் என்று இஸ்ரவேலர்களிடம் சவால் விட்டார். கூடுதலாக, தாவீது ராஜா சங்கீதம் 23 ல் கூறுகிறார், நாம் வாழ்க்கையில் தனியாக நடக்கவில்லை. நமது நல்ல மேய்ப்பனாகிய இயேசு நம்மோடு நடக்கிறார். அவர் நம்மோடு நடப்பது மட்டுமல்லாமல், நமக்கு முன்பாகவும் நடக்கிறார். அமர்ந்த தண்ணீர்கள் அண்டையிலும், நீதியின் பாதைகளிலும் அவர் நம்மை வழிநடத்துகிறார். சங்கீதம் 23:4 சொல்லுகிறது,“நான் மரண இருளின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே நடந்தாலும் பொல்லாப்புக்குப் பயப்படேன்; தேவரீர் என்னோடேகூட இருக்கிறீர்; உமது கோலும் உமது தடியும் என்னைத் தேற்றும்.”
