"Worship the Lord in spirit and truth"

On the harp, I will praise You, O God, my God. Psalm 43:4.

King David describes how we worship the Lord by surrendering, praising, and using instruments. His heart was filled with joyful songs and praises as he reflected on the great things the Lord had done in his life. God created us to praise Him with all our hearts and minds. David says, 'To God, my exceeding joy,' which is what we often lack during low points in our lives. To experience that joy, we need to go into the presence of God by surrendering our lives and connecting with Him. In His presence, there is fullness of joy and freedom. We can praise Him in any way we want, using instruments and shouts of praise. Today, true worshippers worship the Father in spirit and truth, just as Jesus taught the Samaria woman at the well. God wants us to worship in truth and Spirit.  Psalm 16:11 says, “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

தேவனே, என் தேவனே, உம்மைச் சுரமண்டலத்தால் துதிப்பேன். சங்கீதம் 43:4. 

தாவீது ராஜா பணிந்து, புகழ்ந்து, கருவிகளைப் பயன்படுத்தி கர்த்தரை எவ்வாறு ஆராதிக்கிறோம் என்பதை விவரிக்கிறார். கர்த்தர் தன் வாழ்க்கையில் செய்த மகத்தான காரியங்களை அவர் சிந்தித்தபோது, அவருடைய இருதயம் ஆனந்தமான பாடல்களினாலும் துதிகளினாலும் நிரப்பப்பட்டது. நம்முடைய முழு இருதயத்தோடும் முழு மனதோடும் அவரைத் துதிக்கவே தேவன் நம்மைப் படைத்தார். தாவீது கூறுகிறார், 'தேவனுக்கு, என் மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சியை' இது நம் வாழ்க்கையின் கஷ்ட்டமான நேரங்களில்  குறைகிறது. அந்த மகிழ்ச்சியை அனுபவிக்க, நம் வாழ்க்கையை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து அவருடன் இணைந்து நாம் தேவனுடைய பிரசன்னத்திற்குள் செல்ல வேண்டும். அவரது சமூகத்தில் , மகிழ்ச்சியும், விடுதலையும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது. நாம் விரும்பும் எந்த விதத்திலும் வாத்தியங்களைப் பயன்படுத்தியோ, துதி சத்தத்தை பயன்படுத்தியோ அவரைத் துதிக்கலாம். கிணற்றருகே வந்த சமாரிய  பெண்ணுக்கு இயேசு கற்பித்ததைப் போலவே இன்றும் உண்மை ஆராதனை செய்பவர்கள் தேவனை ஆவியோடும் உண்மையோடும் வணங்குகிறார்கள். நாம் ஆவியோடும் உண்மையோடும் பாட வேண்டுமென்று தேவன் விரும்புகிறார்.  சங்கீதம் 16:11 சொல்லுகிறது, “ஜீவமார்க்கத்தை எனக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்துவீர்; உம்முடைய சமுகத்தில் பரிபூரண ஆனந்தமும், உம்முடைய வலதுபாரிசத்தில் நித்திய பேரின்பமும் உண்டு”.
