"David's prayer reflects God's power."

Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You. Psalm 17:7.

This psalm is a prayer of King David. He knows the love and the power of God's right hand. So, he prays to God to show His loving kindness because He is the Savior of those who trust in Him. Encouraged by his faith in God, he believes that God will notice his prayers. God's righteous right hand did wonders in the lives of the people of Israel in the wilderness when they trusted Him. Those who follow the ways of God must, by faith and prayer, receive their daily fresh supplies of grace and strength from Him. Those who trust in Him are made excellent and great because God is kind, merciful, and gentle towards us. We need to pray in faith like David to see marvelous things in our lives and to have protection.  Psalm 18:35 says, “You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.”

உம்மை நம்புகிறவர்களை அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புகிறவர்களினின்று உமது வலதுகரத்தினால் தப்புவித்து இரட்சிக்கிறவரே! உம்முடைய அதிசயமான கிருபையை விளங்கப்பண்ணும். சங்கீதம் 17:7.

இந்த சங்கீதம் தாவீது ராஜாவின் ஜெபம். தேவனுடைய வலதுகரத்தின் அன்பையும் வல்லமையையும் அவர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார். தேவனை  நம்புகிறவர்களின் இரட்சகராக அவர் இருக்கிறபடியால், அவருடைய அன்பான தயவைக் காட்டும்படி அவர் தேவனிடம் ஜெபிக்கிறார். தேவன் மீதுள்ள விசுவாசத்தால் உற்சாகமடைந்த அவர், தனது ஜெபங்களை தேவன் கவனிப்பார் என்று நம்புகிறார். இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் தேவனை   நம்பினபோது அவருடைய நீதியுள்ள வலது கரம் வனாந்தரத்திலே  அவர்களுடைய வாழ்க்கையில் அதிசயங்களைச் செய்தது. தேவனுடைய வழிகளைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்கள், விசுவாசத்தினாலும், ஜெபத்தினாலும், அவரிடமிருந்து அனுதினமும் கிருபையையும் பெலனையும் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். தேவன் நம்மீது தயவுள்ளவராகவும், இரக்கமுள்ளவராகவும், மென்மையானவராகவும் இருப்பதால் அவரை நம்புகிறவர்கள் சிறந்தவர்களாகவும் பெரியவர்களாகவும் ஆக்கப்படுகிறார்கள். நம் வாழ்வில் அதிசயமான காரியங்களைக் காணவும், பாதுகாப்பைப் பெறவும் நாம் தாவீதைப் போல விசுவாசத்தோடு ஜெபிக்க வேண்டும். சங்கீதம் 18:35 சொல்லுகிறது: “உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பின் கேடகத்தையும் எனக்குத் தந்தீர்; உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது; உம்முடைய காருணியம் என்னைப் பெரியவனாக்கும்.”

"Christ safeguards us from sin"

He who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18. Apostle John declares that everyone who believes that Jesus is Christ has been born of God, making them a child of God. When we acknowledge Jesus as the only God and accept Him as our Savior, the Holy Spirit enters our hearts and transforms us from our old selves into new individuals. From that moment on, Christ safeguards us from sin and protects us against the enemy's evil plans. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 1 John 4:12. The Apostle John reminds us that no one has seen God in His true form because He is a spiritual being, and our human eyes can only perceive physical things. Like the wind, God is invisible. Even in the Bible, when figures like Abraham or Gideon encountered God or angels, they did not see God's full nature. Today, we don’t need to physically see God to know Him. When we love one another, we "see" God through our actions. When we show love, God abides in us, and His love helps us grow spiritually. For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully. 1 Peter 2:19. Apostle Peter is saying that when we face the worst in life, like unfair criticism, that's when we need to focus on God and the grace He gave us through Jesus. In life, we often bring suffering on ourselves through our own actions. Sometimes what we call "suffering for Jesus" is really the result of our own selfishness or carelessness.  Peter reminds us that there’s no reward for suffering caused by our own mistakes. Jesus didn’t sin or deceive; He only suffered for doing what was right. We should follow His example, being righteous, thoughtful, and careful in all we do.
