"God's blessings are unchangeable and eternal."

“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:19.

This chapter, Numbers 23, shows how God's power and blessings are unchangeable. Even though the King of Moab, Balak, tries hard to curse the Israelites by hiring the prophet Balaam, God intervenes, and Balaam has no choice but to obey God. God is unchangeable and cannot be bribed or impressed with riches, unlike Balaam. God is not a man; He does not lie or change His mind as humans do. This passage teaches us to trust that God always protects us and reminds us that no curse or bad intention can stop His blessings for us. God is perfect in everything He thinks and does. Unlike people who often change their minds and twist the truth, God's advice is solid, His promises are reliable, His words can be trusted, and His truth stays the same forever. If we believe and trust in God with all our hearts, He will take care of our future and lead us amazingly. We should trust and follow His words faithfully to receive eternal life.   As 2 Corinthians 1:20 says, "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us."

பொய் சொல்ல தேவன் ஒரு மனிதன் அல்ல; மனம்மாற அவர் ஒரு மனுபுத்திரனும் அல்ல; அவர் சொல்லியும் செய்யாதிருப்பாரா? அவர் வசனித்தும் நிறைவேற்றாதிருப்பாரா? எண்ணாகமம் 23:19.

இந்த அதிகாரம், எண்ணாகமம் 23, தேவனுடைய வல்லமையும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களும் மாறாதவை என்பதைக் காட்டுகிறது. மோவாபின் அரசனாகிய பாலாக், தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய பிலேயாமை வேலைக்கு அமர்த்தி இஸ்ரவேலரை சபிக்க கடுமையாக முயற்சி செய்தபோதிலும், தேவன் தலையிடுகிறார், தேவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதைத் தவிர பிலேயாமுக்கு வேறு வழியில்லை. தேவன் மாறாதவர், பிலேயாமைப் போல லஞ்சம் பெறுகிறவரல்ல  செல்வத்தால் ஈர்க்கப்படுகிற வருமில்லை, தேவன்  ஒரு மனிதன் அல்ல; மனிதர்களைப் போல அவர் பொய் சொல்லவோ அல்லது மனதை மாற்றவோ மாட்டார்.தேவன்  எப்போதும் நம்மை பாதுகாக்கிறார் என்று நம்புவதற்கு இந்த பகுதி நமக்குக் கற்பிக்கிறது, மேலும் எந்த சாபமும் கெட்ட நோக்கமும் நமக்காக அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களை நிறுத்த முடியாது என்பதை நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. தேவன் தான் நினைக்கும் எல்லாவற்றையும் நேர்த்தியாக செய்கிறவராக இருக்கிறார். அடிக்கடி தங்கள் மனதை மாற்றி, சத்தியத்தைத் திரிக்கும் மக்களைப் போலல்லாமல், தேவனின் ஆலோசனை உறுதியானது, அவருடைய வாக்குறுதிகள் நம்பகமானவை, அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளை நம்பலாம், அவருடைய சத்தியம் என்றென்றும் அப்படியே இருக்கும். நாம் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் தேவனை விசுவாசித்து நம்பினால், அவர் நமது எதிர்காலத்தை கவனித்து நம்மை அதிசயமாக வழிநடத்துவார். நித்திய ஜீவனைப் பெற நாம் அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளை உண்மையுடன் நம்பி பின்பற்ற வேண்டும்.   2 கொரிந்தியர் 1:20 சொல்வது போல், “எங்களால் தேவனுக்கு மகிமையுண்டாகும்படி, தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களெல்லாம் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் ஆம் என்றும், அவருக்குள் ஆமென் என்றும் இருக்கிறதே.”
