"Jesus: I have overcome the world."

May the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 1 Peter 5:10.

Apostle Peter is writing to Christians who have been enduring great persecution. He encourages them by explaining that none of their sufferings are in vain but are meant for eternal glory through Christ Jesus. Peter makes it clear that suffering is unavoidable when we choose to follow Jesus. The Lord Jesus Himself suffered, and after His time of suffering, He entered into His eternal glory and is with us as a living God. Peter also came to understand more fully that after we have experienced suffering for a little while, God, in His grace, will perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish us. Romans 8:18 says, "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

அழைத்தவராயிருக்கிற சகல கிருபையும் பொருந்திய தேவன்தாமே கொஞ்சக்காலம் பாடநுபவிக்கிற உங்களைச் சீர்படுத்தி, ஸ்திரப்படுத்தி, பலப்படுத்தி, நிலைநிறுத்துவராக. 1 பேதுரு 5:10.

அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பேதுரு மிகுந்த துன்புறுத்தல்களைச் சகித்து வரும் கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கு எழுதுகிறார். அவர்களுடைய பாடுகள் எதுவும் வீண் அல்ல, ஆனால் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின் மூலம் நித்திய மகிமைக்காகவே இருக்கின்றன என்று விளக்குவதன் மூலம் அவர் அவர்களை உற்சாகப்படுத்துகிறார். இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்ற நாம் முடிவெடுக்கும்போது துன்பம் தவிர்க்க முடியாதது என்பதை பேதுரு தெளிவுபடுத்துகிறார். கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு தாமே பாடுபட்டு, அவருடைய பாடுகளுக்குப் பிறகு, நித்திய மகிமைக்குள் பிரவேசித்து, ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனாக நம்முடன் இருக்கிறார். நாம் சிறிது காலம் பாடுகளை அனுபவித்த பிறகு, தேவன் தம்முடைய கிருபையினால் நம்மை பரிபூரணப்படுத்தி, உறுதிப்படுத்தி, பெலப்படுத்தி, ஸ்தாபிப்பார் என்பதையும் பேதுரு இன்னும் முழுமையாக புரிந்துகொண்டார். ரோமர் 8:18 சொல்லுகிறது, "இக்காலத்துப் பாடுகள் நம்மில் வெளிப்படப்போகிற மகிமைக்கு ஒப்பிடத்தக்கதல்லவென்று எண்ணுகிறேன்" என்றார் ரோமர் 8:18 சொல்லுகிறது. "ஆதலால் இக்காலத்துப் பாடுகள் இனி நம்மிடத்தில் வெளிப்படும் மகிமைக்கு ஒப்பிடத்தக்கவைகள் அல்லவென்று எண்ணுகிறேன்."

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 1 John 4:12. The Apostle John reminds us that no one has seen God in His true form because He is a spiritual being, and our human eyes can only perceive physical things. Like the wind, God is invisible. Even in the Bible, when figures like Abraham or Gideon encountered God or angels, they did not see God's full nature. Today, we don’t need to physically see God to know Him. When we love one another, we "see" God through our actions. When we show love, God abides in us, and His love helps us grow spiritually. He who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18. Apostle John declares that everyone who believes that Jesus is Christ has been born of God, making them a child of God. When we acknowledge Jesus as the only God and accept Him as our Savior, the Holy Spirit enters our hearts and transforms us from our old selves into new individuals. Despite their distress, the Israelites continue to affirm their trust in God's power and His sovereignty over their enemies. It is a declaration of their faith in God's ability to deliver them from their troubles and grant them victory. We see God's protection, power, and victory over everything. "We need to submit ourselves to Christ"

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2. One of the best thoughts to meditate on is keeping our minds on things that are above (heaven), not on things that are on the earth. As heaven and earth are far apart, they cannot be considered together; affection for one will weaken the other. It is a choice in front of us: whether we choose good or evil, life or death. Choosing evil things will lead us towards death without hope of eternal heaven. Choosing good things will take us to heaven the eternal life. To choose life, we need to seek God, obey His word, and faithfully follow Him. We need to submit ourselves to Christ to be renewed day by day. "Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray!"

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2. Today's verse reminds us of the importance of prayer, urging us to engage in it continuously, earnestly, watchfully, vigilantly, and with gratitude towards God. Apostle Paul wrote to the people of Thessalonica in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, 18 , " Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." We need to maintain alertness and focus in our prayer life with an attitude of thanksgiving. Without continuous connection with God, we fall into the enemy's snares, losing our peace and joy. "Eternal life through faith in Jesus"

For the wages of sin is death, but the [h]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23. Apostle Paul speaks about the consequences of sin, emphasizing that every human being born on this earth both inherits and commits sin. Sin, when unforgiven, deserves punishment. Just as every evil behavior is punishable by law enforcement agencies such as the police, sin unforgiven is punishable under the act of God and deserves eternal death. However, God provided a remedy for this death by sending His only Son, Jesus, who died on the cross to save us from our sins. Through Jesus, we obtain forgiveness for our sins and our destination changes from eternal death to eternal life. This eternal life is a gift from God, as we neither worked for it nor earned it by our merits.
