"Rock or Sand: Where do you build your house?"

Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established. Proverbs 24:3.

King Solomon expressed in Proverbs that the Lord founded the earth with wisdom and established the heavens with understanding. God is the ultimate source of wisdom, and true wisdom is attained through knowing and understanding of God. Building a relationship with God requires dedicated time spent in connection and communication with Him. Jesus, in one of His parables during the Sermon on the Mount, narrated the story of two builders: one who constructed his house on a rock and another who built it on sand. The house on the rock endured the storm, earning the builder the title of wise, while the house on the sand collapsed, making the builder foolish. Similarly, those who hear and obey the word of God are like the wise builder, constructing their faith on a solid foundation that withstands life's trials. Proverbs 2:2 says, "So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding."

கர்த்தர் பூமியை ஞானத்தினால் அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தி, வானங்களை புத்தியினால் ஸ்தாபித்தார் என்று சாலொமோன் ராஜா நீதிமொழிகளில் வெளிப்படுத்தினார். தேவன் ஞானத்தின் இறுதி ஆதாரம், தேவனை அறிந்துகொள்வதன் மூலமும் புரிந்துகொள்வதன் மூலமும் உண்மையான ஞானம் அடைகிறோம். தேவனுடன் ஒரு உறவை உருவாக்குவதற்கு அவருடன் தொடர்பிலும், உறவாடுதலிலும் ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட அர்ப்பணிப்பு நேரம் தேவைப்படுகிறது. இயேசு, மலைப்பிரசங்கத்தின் போது தனது உவமைகளில் ஒன்றில், இரண்டு வீடு கட்டுபவர்களின் கதையை விவரித்தார்: ஒருவர் தனது வீட்டை கற்பாறையில் கட்டினார், மற்றொருவர் மணலில் கட்டினார். பாறையின் மேல் கட்டப்பட்ட வீடு புயலைத் தாங்கியது, கட்டியவர் ஞானி என்ற பட்டத்தைப் பெற்றார், அதே நேரத்தில் மணலில் கட்டப்பட்ட வீடு இடிந்து விழுந்தது, கட்டியவர்  முட்டாள் என்ற பட்டத்தைப் பெற்றார். அதேபோல், தேவைன்னுடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு அதற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறவர்களும் ஞானமுள்ள கட்டிடக் கலைஞரைப் போல் இருக்கிறார்கள். வாழ்க்கையின் சோதனைகளைத் தாக்குப்பிடிக்கும் உறுதியான அஸ்திபாரத்தின் மீது தங்கள் விசுவாசத்தைக் கட்டுகிறார்கள். நீதிமொழிகள் 2:1 கூறுகிறது, "நீ உன் செவியை ஞானத்திற்குச் சாய்த்து, உன் இருதயத்தைப் புத்திக்கு அமையப்பண்ணு."
