"Abide in Light, Live in Love"

He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. 1 John 2:10.

This verse teaches us that living in love means abiding in the light. The Gospel light not only enlightens our minds but also warms our hearts with love. The Word of God tells us that if we do not love those around us, we are not truly abiding in the light. Loving one another demonstrates a deep connection to Christ. Without the love of Christ in us, we cannot love others as He loves us.  Jesus instructed us to love even those who hate and reject us. A true follower of Christ who loves their brother or sister abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in them. 'No cause for stumbling' means not causing others to sin or lose their faith. Do we have the love of Christ within us? This love is unconditional—it forgives and accepts even those who hate us. 1 John 4:12 says, "No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us."

தன் சகோதரனிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறவன் ஒளியிலே நிலைகொண்டிருக்கிறான்; அவனிடத்தில் இடறல் ஒன்றுமில்லை. I யோவான் 2:10.

அன்பில் வாழ்வது என்பது வெளிச்சத்தில் நிலைத்திருப்பது என்று இந்த வசனம் நமக்குப் போதிக்கிறது. சுவிசேஷ ஒளி நம் மனங்களை தெளிவுபடுத்துவது மட்டுமல்லாமல், நம் இதயங்களை அன்பால் சூடேற்றுகிறது. நம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவர்களை நாம் நேசிக்காவிட்டால், நாம் உண்மையிலேயே ஒளியில் நிலைத்திருக்க மாட்டோம் என்று தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை நமக்குச் சொல்கிறது. ஒருவரையொருவர் நேசிப்பது கிறிஸ்துவுடனான ஆழமான தொடர்பை நிரூபிக்கிறது. கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பு நம்மில் இல்லாமல், அவர் நம்மை நேசிப்பது போல நாம் மற்றவர்களை நேசிக்க முடியாது.  நம்மை வெறுத்து ஒதுக்குகிறவர்களையும் நேசிக்க வேண்டும் என்று இயேசு நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்தினார். தங்கள் சகோதரனை அல்லது சகோதரியை நேசிக்கும் கிறிஸ்துவை  உண்மையாகப் பின்பற்றுபவர் ஒளியில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார்கள், அவர்களில் இடறலுக்கு எந்த காரணமும் இல்லை. 'இடறலுக்கு எந்தக் காரணமும் இல்லை' என்பது மற்றவர்களைப் பாவம் செய்யவோ அல்லது விசுவாசத்தை இழக்கவோ செய்யாமலிருப்பதை அர்த்தப்படுத்துகிறது. கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பு நமக்குள் இருக்கிறதா? இந்த அன்பு நிபந்தனையற்றது - இது நம்மை வெறுப்பவர்களைக் கூட மன்னித்து ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறது.  1 யோவான் 4:12 கூறுகிறது, "தேவனை ஒருவரும் ஒருபோதும் கண்டதில்லை; நாம் ஒருவரிடத்தில் ஒருவர் அன்புகூர்ந்தால் தேவன் நமக்குள் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார்; அவருடைய அன்பும் நமக்குள் பூரணப்படும்.”
