"Blessed are those who endure trials."

Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12.

In today's scripture, Apostle James includes a beatitude, just as Jesus offered in Matthew 5:1-11: 'Blessed is the man who endures temptation.' He gives hope and encourages perseverance through trials, mentioning that our faith grows stronger when tested by challenges. However, the difficulties we face daily can trip us up and tempt us into doubt and hopelessness. One thing we need to remember is that at the end of all trials, we will receive the reward—the crown of life—which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. The crown of life represents the reward of eternal life and the fulfillment of God's promises to those who faithfully endure trials and remain committed to their faith. 'Are you losing hope when you face trials?' Let us go to Jesus, our living hope, who gives us the power to overcome. 1 Corinthians 2:9 says, “But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’''

சோதனையைச் சகிக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்; அவன் உத்தமனென்று விளங்கினபின்பு கர்த்தர் தம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறவர்களுக்கு வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணின ஜீவகிரீடத்தைப் பெறுவான். யாக்கோபு 1:12.

மத்தேயு 5:1-11 வரையுள்ள வசனங்களில், 'சோதனையைச் சகிக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்' என்று இயேசு கூறியது போல, இன்றைய வசனத்தில், அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய யாக்கோபு, சோதனைகளில் விடாமுயற்சியை ஊக்குவித்து நமக்கு நம்பிக்கையூட்டுவதுடன், சவால்களால் சோதிக்கப்படும்போது நமது விசுவாசம் பலமடைகிறது என்று குறிப்பிடுகிறார். இருப்பினும், நாம் அன்றாடம் எதிர்கொள்ளும் கஷ்டங்கள் நம்மை ஏமாற்றி, சந்தேகத்திலும் நம்பிக்கையின்மையிலும் நம்மைத் தூண்டக்கூடும். நாம் நினைவில் கொள்ள வேண்டிய ஒரு விஷயம் என்னவென்றால், எல்லா சோதனைகளின் முடிவிலும், அவரை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு கர்த்தர் வாக்குத்தத்தம் செய்த வெகுமதியாகிய  - ஜீவ கிரீடத்தை நாம் பெறுவோம். ஜீவகிரீடம் நித்திய ஜீவனையும், சோதனைகளை உண்மையுடன் சகித்து தங்கள் விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியாக இருப்பவர்களுக்கு தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களின் நிறைவேற்றத்தையும் குறிக்கிறது. 'சோதனைகளை எதிர்கொள்ளும்போது நீங்கள் நம்பிக்கையை இழக்கிறீர்களா?' நமக்கு ஜெயிக்கும் வல்லமையைத் தருகிற, ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனாகிய இயேசுவிடம் செல்லுவோம். 1 கொரிந்தியர் 2:9 சொல்லுகிறது, “தேவன் தம்மில் அன்புகூருகிறவர்களுக்கு ஆயத்தம்பண்ணினவைகளைக் கண் காணவுமில்லை, காதுகேட்கவுமில்லை, அவைகள் மனுஷனுடைய இருதயத்தில் தோன்றவுமில்லை.”
