"Blessed Are Those Who Honor God"

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. Psalm 33:12.

This verse says that the blessings of God will be upon the nation that gives the first place to God and honors Him. The Bible says God looks down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there are any who understand who seek God. God created man to worship Him with all their heart, mind, and soul. God longs for our love. He had fellowship with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and blessed them. How blessed they were to have a covenant-keeping God who is the Creator of the universe. How blessed they were to be His chosen people. The nation of Israel was God’s special inheritance as they followed His laws. If we love and honor God with all our hearts, we will be blessed with the blessings of being His sons and daughters.  1 John 3:1 says, “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.”

கர்த்தரைத் தங்களுக்குத் தெய்வமாகக்கொண்ட ஜாதியும், அவர் தமக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஜனமும் பாக்கியமுள்ளது. சங்கீதம் 33:12.

தேவனுக்கு முதலிடம் கொடுத்து அவரை மகிமைப்படுத்துகிற தேசத்தின் மீது தேவனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதம் இருக்கும் என்று இந்த வசனம் கூறுகிறது. தேவனைப்  புரிந்துகொள்கிறவர்கள், தேவனைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் யாராவது இருக்கிறார்களா என்று தேவன் வானத்திலிருந்து மனுபுத்திரரை நோக்குகிறார் என்று வேதாகமம் கூறுகிறது. தேவன் தம்மை முழு இருதயத்தோடும், முழு மனதோடும், முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் வணங்குவதற்காகவே மனிதனைப் படைத்தார். தேவன் நம்முடைய அன்புக்காக ஏங்குகிறார். ஆபிரகாம், ஈசாக்கு, யாக்கோபு ஆகியோருடன் ஐக்கியம் கொண்டு அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்தார். இந்த பிரபஞ்சத்தின் சிருஷ்டிகராகிய உடன்படிக்கையைக் காக்கும் தேவனைக் கொண்டிருப்பது அவர்களுக்கு எவ்வளவு பாக்கியம். அவரால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட ஜனங்களாக இருப்பதற்கு அவர்கள் எவ்வளவு ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள். இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தார் தேவனுடைய சட்டங்களைப் பின்பற்றியதால் அவருடைய விசேஷித்த சுதந்தரமாக இருந்தனர். நாம் தேவனை முழு இருதயத்தோடும் நேசித்து கனம்பண்ணினால், அவருடைய குமாரர் மற்றும் குமாரத்திகளாக இருக்கும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுவோம்.  1 யோவான் 3:1  சொல்லுகிறது, ”நாம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளென்று அழைக்கப்படுவதினாலே பிதாவானவர் நமக்குப் பாராட்டின அன்பு எவ்வளவு பெரிதென்று பாருங்கள்; உலகம் அவரை அறியாதபடியினாலே நம்மையும் அறியவில்லை.”
