"Blessed to Be a Blessing"

Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. Genesis 1:28.

When God created Adam and Eve, He gave them the promise to be blessed and to be a blessing. Being fruitful and multiplying means raising future generations. Having dominion over everything means turning situations in their favor. Today, we need to be blessed to be a blessing for others. Abraham inherited this promise and became the father of nations, through whom every generation is blessed. Many times, our situation may not favor us, and things may not go the way we want. But God's intention is for us to turn every situation, even adverse ones, in our favor so that we can achieve our purpose on this earth. The Bible says Isaac sowed during a famine and reaped a hundredfold in the same year. Let us make every possible effort to be a blessing to others and turn every opportunity in our favor. Ephesians 5:16 says, “Making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”

தேவன் ஆதாமையும் ஏவாளையும் படைத்தபோது, அவர்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களாகவும், ஆசீர்வாதமாகவும் இருப்பார்கள் என்ற வாக்குறுதியைக் கொடுத்தார். பலனளித்து பலுகிப் பெருகுதல் என்பது எதிர்கால சந்ததியினரை உருவாக்குவதாகும். எல்லாவற்றின் மீதும் ஆதிக்கம் செலுத்துவது என்பது சூழ்நிலைகளை தங்களுக்கு சாதகமாக மாற்றுவதாகும். இன்று, மற்றவர்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதமாக இருக்க நாம் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட வேண்டும். ஆபிரகாம் இந்த வாக்குறுதியைச் சுதந்தரித்தார், தேசங்களின் தகப்பனானார், அவர் மூலம் ஒவ்வொரு தலைமுறையும் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுகிறது. அநேக சமயங்களில், நம்முடைய சூழ்நிலை நமக்குச் சாதகமாக இல்லாமல் போகலாம்.  நாம் விரும்பியபடி காரியங்கள் நடக்காமல் போகலாம். ஆனால் இந்த பூமியில் நம்முடைய நோக்கத்தை அடைய ஒவ்வொரு சூழ்நிலையையும், பாதகமான சூழ்நிலைகளையும் கூட நமக்கு சாதகமாக மாற்றுவதே தேவனுடைய நோக்கம். ஈசாக்கு பஞ்சத்தின் போது விதைத்து அதே ஆண்டில் நூறு மடங்கு அறுவடை செய்தார் என்று பைபிள் கூறுகிறது. மற்றவர்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதமாக இருக்க எல்லா முயற்சிகளையும் செய்வோமாக, ஒவ்வொரு வாய்ப்பையும் நமக்கு சாதகமாக மாற்றுவோம். எபேசியர் 5:16 சொல்லுகிறது, “நாட்கள் பொல்லாதவைகளானதால் காலத்தைப் பிரயோஜனப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.”
