"God's Timing is Always Perfect"

Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; and therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him. Isaiah 30:18.

This verse reveals the character of God: patient, gracious, merciful, and just. He is our perfect God, doing things in His own time. There are even times when we wonder if God is listening to our prayers. The Bible says that Abraham, who followed God faithfully, waited a long time for a child. His wife Sarah lost hope and asked him to have a baby with her maid, Hagar. But God patiently handled the situation to teach them who He is and how faithful His promises are. He made them wait to receive the blessing of His covenant son, Isaac. Often, we try to find solutions in our own ways without considering God's will. When we fail, we go back to God and seek His help. But our God of patience waits for us because He is gracious toward us. Even though our decisions are not always the best, God handles us gently, showing mercy to exalt His name. God wants us to be like Him in everything we do, waiting to receive His blessings. Psalm 27:14 says, "Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart."

ஆனாலும் உங்களுக்கு இரங்கும்படி கர்த்தர் காத்திருப்பார், உங்கள்மேல் மனதுருகும்படி எழுந்திருப்பார்; கர்த்தர் நீதிசெய்கிற தேவன்; அவருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிற அனைவரும் பாக்கியவான்கள். ஏசாயா 30:18. 

இந்த வசனம், பொறுமை, இரக்கம், தயவு மற்றும் நீதியாகிய தேவனுடைய  தன்மையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது: அவர் நம்முடைய பரிபூரண தேவன், தம்முடைய சரியான நேரத்தில் காரியங்களைச் செய்கிறார். தேவன் நம் ஜெபங்களைக் கேட்கிறாரா என்று நாம் ஆச்சரியப்படும் நேரங்கள் கூட உள்ளன. தேவனை  உண்மையோடு பின்பற்றிய ஆபிரகாம், ஒரு குழந்தைக்காக நீண்ட காலம் காத்திருந்தார் என்று  பரிசுத்த வேதாகமம்   சொல்கிறது. அவருடைய மனைவி சாராள் நம்பிக்கை இழந்து, தன்னுடைய வேலைக்காரியான ஆகாரோடு சேர்ந்து குழந்தை பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும்படி அவரிடம் கேட்டாள். ஆனால் தேவன் பொறுமையாக சூழ்நிலையை கையாண்டு தாம் யார் என்பதையும், அவருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் எவ்வளவு உண்மையுள்ளவை என்பதையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்தார். தம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் குமாரனாகிய ஈசாக்கின் ஆசீர்வாதத்தைப் பெறுவதற்காக அவர்களைக்  காத்திருக்க வைத்தார். பெரும்பாலும், நாம் தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தை கருத்தில் கொள்ளாமல் நம்முடைய சொந்த வழிகளில் தீர்வுகளைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க முயற்சிக்கிறோம். நாம் தோல்வியடையும் போது, நாம் தேவனிடம் திரும்பிச் சென்று அவரது உதவியை நாடுகிறோம். நம்முடைய பொறுமையுள்ள தேவன் நம்மேல் கிருபையுள்ளவராய் இருக்கிறபடியினால் நமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறார். நாம் எடுக்கும் தீர்மானங்கள் எப்போதும் சிறந்தவையாக இல்லாவிட்டாலும், தேவன் நம்மை மென்மையாக கையாளுகிறார், அவருடைய பெயரை உயர்த்த கிருபை அளிக்கிறார். தேவனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெற, நாம் செய்யும் எல்லாவற்றிலும் நாம் அவரைப் போல இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று தேவன் விரும்புகிறார். சங்கீதம் 27:14 சொல்லுகிறது, “கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திரு; அவர் உன் இருதயத்தை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவார்; திடமனதாயிருந்து, கர்த்தருக்கே காத்திரு.”
