"Pursue, Peace and Holiness Always"

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14.

This scripture says that without peace and holiness, we cannot see God. These two qualities define our spiritual state and standing. As God's children, we are at peace with Him because He forgave our sins through grace and faith. We should make every effort to maintain the inner peace of God, which surpasses human understanding, by keeping our minds focused on Him. As far as possible, we must also maintain peace with others. We are called to be holy and set apart for Him as holy people. This can be achieved only by His grace and by living a life of holiness. Are we seeking peace and holiness in order to see God? We need the help of the Holy Spirit to see God and allow it to work within us through meditating on His Word. Matthew 5:8 says, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."

யாவரோடும் சமாதானமாயிருக்கவும், பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாயிருக்கவும் நாடுங்கள்; பரிசுத்தமில்லாமல் ஒருவனும் கர்த்தரைத் தரிசிப்பதில்லையே. எபிரெயர் 12:14.

சமாதானமும் பரிசுத்தமும் இல்லாமல் நம்மால் தேவனைத்  தரிசிக்க முடியாது என்று இந்த வசனம் கூறுகிறது. இந்த இரண்டு குணங்களும் நமது ஆன்மீக நிலையையும் நிலைப்பாட்டையும் வரையறுக்கின்றன. தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாகிய நாம் அவருடன் சமாதானமாக இருக்கிறோம், ஏனென்றால் அவர் கிருபை மற்றும் விசுவாசத்தின் மூலம் நம்முடைய பாவங்களை மன்னித்தார். மனித அறிவுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்ட தேவனுடைய உள்ளார்ந்த சமாதானத்தைக் காத்துக்கொள்ள நாம் எல்லா முயற்சிகளையும் எடுக்க வேண்டும், நமது மனதை அவரில் ஒருமுகப்படுத்த வேண்டும். கூடுமானவரை நாம் மற்றவர்களுடன் சமாதானமாக இருக்க வேண்டும். நாம் பரிசுத்தர்களாக இருக்கவும், பரிசுத்த மக்களாக அவருக்காக பிரித்தெடுக்கப்படவும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். இது அவருடைய கிருபையினாலும் மற்றும் பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதன் மூலம் மட்டுமே அடைய முடியும். தேவனைத் தரிசிப்பதற்காக நாம் சமாதானத்தையும் பரிசுத்தத்தையும் தேடுகிறோமா? பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் உதவி தேவனைத்  தரிசிக்கவும், அவருடைய வார்த்தையை தியானிப்பதன் மூலம் நமக்குள் செயல்படவும் உதவுகிறது. மத்தேயு 5:8 கூறுகிறது, "இருதயத்தில் சுத்தமுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் தேவனைத் தரிசிப்பார்கள்.”
