"Submit to God, Resist the devil, and Overcome"

Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7.

This is a powerful verse teaching us how to cast the devil out of our difficult situations. First, we need to submit ourselves to God. This means humbly surrendering ourselves, our desires, our plans, and our strength to God. It is no longer I, but Christ who lives within me and fights for me. Secondly, resist the devil. When we submit ourselves to God, He will take complete control over us and start fighting the battle for us. Thirdly, the devil will flee; When God within us fights the battle, the devil cannot stay and will have to flee from us. God will teach, train, and guide us on how to fight when we surrender ourselves to Him. In the same way, Joshua brought down the walls of Jericho by submitting himself to God and following God-given strategies. Deuteronomy 28:7 says, "The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways."

"Let us rejoice in the Lord"

Image
This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 Each day is a precious gift from God; despite the challenges we face, God has called us to rejoice and be glad in it.  To maintain joy every day, we can follow five steps:   1. Seek His face with all our hearts before starting the day.  2. Express our gratitude and praise to Him with hearts overflowing with thanksgiving. 3. Love Him by meditating on His word day and night.  4. Find contentment in Him by counting our blessings.  5. Share His love with others through what He has given us.  As Apostle Paul urged the Philippian believers in Philippians 4:4 , “ Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

"Christ safeguards us from sin"

Image
He who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18. Apostle John declares that everyone who believes that Jesus is Christ has been born of God, making them a child of God. When we acknowledge Jesus as the only God and accept Him as our Savior, the Holy Spirit enters our hearts and transforms us from our old selves into new individuals. From that moment on, Christ safeguards us from sin and protects us against the enemy's evil plans. The Bible affirms that whoever has been born of God does not sin, as His seed remains in them, and they cannot sin because they have been born of God. In John 3:3 , 'Jesus answered and said to him,' "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." I யோவான் 5:18.

"Blog Y2 014 - God Answers Our Prayers Before We Ask"

Image
That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24. The answer to our prayers is prepared before we pray. He is more ready to hear than we are to pray! While we are praying to Him, He hears, answers, and grants our requests, and more, just as He did for Daniel. Gabriel, an angel from God, brought God’s answer to Daniel. At the moment Daniel began praying, God sent this messenger to speak to him (Daniel 9:20-23). This shows the Lord’s readiness to help and assist us in times of trouble or fear and is a great encouragement to approach the throne of grace constantly. He has made large and firm promises of answer when we pray. Yet, sometimes, His answer is a refusal; other times, it is a delay, and at other times, it is the gift of something we did not even ask for. Are you confident that God hears and answers your prayers, even before you pray, just as He did for Daniel?  Psalm 91:15 says: "He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;...

"We need to submit ourselves to Christ"

Image
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2. One of the best thoughts to meditate on is keeping our minds on things that are above (heaven), not on things that are on the earth. As heaven and earth are far apart, they cannot be considered together; affection for one will weaken the other. It is a choice in front of us: whether we choose good or evil, life or death. Choosing evil things will lead us towards death without hope of eternal heaven. Choosing good things will take us to heaven the eternal life. To choose life, we need to seek God, obey His word, and faithfully follow Him. We need to submit ourselves to Christ to be renewed day by day. Apostle Paul writes to the Christ followers of Rome in Romans 8:6 , "For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."

"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper" - The Lord.

Image
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2. In today's verse, Apostle John, the beloved disciple of Jesus, prayed for three types of blessings: prosperity, physical health, and spiritual well-being. God desires our overall success, including good health and wealth. Moreover, God provides blessings in our spiritual life, bringing the joy of salvation and bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit, such as love, joy, and peace. It is crucial to live victoriously, rejoicing in the Lord always, as such a life brings the greatest blessings and peace to our souls. In Ephesians 1:3 , Apostle Paul says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”

"Blog Y2 045 - Faith in God’s Strength Brings Victory"

Image
Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. Psalm 44:5. The verse highlights the theme of faith and reliance on God's strength. Despite their distress, the Israelites continue to affirm their trust in God's power and His sovereignty over their enemies. It is a declaration of their faith in God's ability to deliver them from their troubles and grant them victory. We see God's protection, power, and victory over everything. We know how David killed Goliath in the name of the Lord. The psalmist says that we shall tread upon the lion and the cobra; the young lion and the serpent we shall trample underfoot with God’s authority. In the same way, we can push down our adversaries and trample the enemy who rises up against us. Will you trust in God's strength to help you overcome your adversaries and grant you victory? Psalm 60:12 says: “Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our en...

"Blog Y2 041 - Reflect God's love through actions"

Image
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 1 John 4:12. The Apostle John reminds us that no one has seen God in His true form because He is a spiritual being, and our human eyes can only perceive physical things. Like the wind, God is invisible. Even in the Bible, when figures like Abraham or Gideon encountered God or angels, they did not see God's full nature. Today, we don’t need to physically see God to know Him. When we love one another, we "see" God through our actions. When we show love, God abides in us, and His love helps us grow spiritually. Whatever is incomplete or imperfect in our lives, God's love fills those gaps. His love is the greatest gift, providing everything we need to live for Him and to love others. If we truly grasp the depth of God’s love and reflect it in our lives, we won’t feel the need to search for other experiences or teachings—His love makes us whole. Are you reflect...
