Blog # 315 - "Fear of God brings life and safety."

The fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil. Proverbs 19:23.

King Solomon emphasizes the importance of the fear of the Lord in this chapter. He mentions that when we fear God, we receive life, satisfaction, and safety. 

     First, fearing God leads to life. Since the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, it leads to a life of happiness, prosperity, and success. The Word of God says that the fear of the Lord is a life-giving fountain that prolongs days. 

    Second, the fear of the Lord brings lasting satisfaction. God reserves peace for those who fear Him. 

    Third, the fear of the Lord saves from evil. God protects those who fear Him from every danger. 

Do you have the fear of the Lord? 

Proverbs 14:26 says, "In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge."

கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் ஜீவனுக்கேதுவானது; அதை அடைந்தவன் திருப்தியடைந்து நிலைத்திருப்பான்; தீமை அவனை அணுகாது. நீதிமொழிகள் 19:23

சாலொமோன் ராஜா இந்த அதிகாரத்தில் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை வலியுறுத்துகிறார். நாம் தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படும்போது ஜீவனும், திருப்தியும், பாதுகாப்பும் கிடைக்கும் என்று அவர் குறிப்பிடுகிறார். 

    முதலாவதாக, தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படுவது ஜீவனுக்கு நடத்துகிறது. கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலே ஞானத்தின் ஆரம்பம் என்பதால், அது மகிழ்ச்சி, செழிப்பு மற்றும் வெற்றி நிறைந்த வாழ்க்கைக்கு வழிநடத்துகிறது. கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் ஜீவனளிக்கும் நீரூற்று என்றும், அது நாட்களை நீடிக்கிறது என்றும் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை கூறுகிறது. 

    இரண்டாவதாக, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் நீடித்த திருப்தியைக் கொண்டுவருகிறது. தேவனிடத்தில் பயபக்தியாய் இருப்போருக்கென்று சமாதானத்தை  ஒதுக்கி வைக்கிறார் 

.     மூன்றாவதாக, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் தீமையினின்று பாதுகாக்கிறது. தேவன் தன்னிடத்தில் பயபக்தியாய்  நடப்போரை எல்லா ஆபத்துகளிலிருந்தும் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்.

 நீங்கள் தேவனிடத்தில் பயபக்தியாய் இருக்கிறீர்களா? 

நீதிமொழிகள் 14:2 கூறுகிறது, “கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவனுக்குத் திடநம்பிக்கை உண்டு; அவன் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் அடைக்கலம் கிடைக்கும்.”

    Fear is antithesis to Faith but 'Fear of God' is the foundation of Faith! Fear of God drives away the fear of the world! Thank You for the apt Bible verses.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Psalm 106:1. We truly praise the Lord when we give Him thanks for what we have received from Him. Gratitude toward the Lord is an attitude of the heart that deepens our intimate relationship with God. Being thankful to God is an act of worship. King David says: “I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1). The Apostle Paul encourages us to always thank the Lord for the grace of God given to us in Christ Jesus. Let us never be slow to return our praises to the Lord. He is worthy to be praised. Even when we are unfaithful, God remains faithful to His covenant, consistently showing us grace, mercy, and kindness. Blog # 359 - "Trust in God's mighty power"

Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding. Job 36:5. Today’s scripture speaks of how mighty our God is and of His strength and understanding. When trouble comes, we often focus more on the problem than on the mighty power of God , and we get discouraged easily. But God expects us to remember and praise Him, that He is all-powerful, strong, and mighty and praise Him. He has the power to control nature, the universe, and all of creation. He sent His only Son into the world to crush the enemy's head at the cross. King David could easily defeat the giant Goliath, revealing the power of God as greater than that of the enemy. We should always remember that our God is the Lord of Hosts, and who is victorious. When we have faith in God and His might, we will see miracles in our lives. Blog # 357 - "Sow peace to reap righteousness."

Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 1:18. Today’s verse speaks about the fruit of righteousness. It is the peacemaker who sows seeds of peace to reap a harvest of righteousness. The Apostle James uses the word "peace" here to refer to the right relationships among people. He desires peace in the church and among believers, knowing that peace is the only environment in which righteousness can flourish. God loves peacemakers. The wisdom of this world produces trouble, while the wisdom from above produces peace among people. God-trusting, self-sacrificing heavenly wisdom is the source of peace, gentleness, mercy, and righteousness. Are you sowing seeds of peace to reap a harvest of righteousness? Blog # 360 - "Enemies flee when prayers rise"

The Lord has heard my supplication; The Lord will receive my prayer. Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled; Let them turn back and be ashamed suddenly. Psalm 6:9-10. Today, we witness the power of prayer and how the enemy trembles and flees from the children of God when they pray. This verse illustrates how King David prayed to God with faith, and God answered by defeating the enemies who came against him, putting them to shame before him. Similarly, in our lives, when we cry out to God, He will answer our supplications, and we will see our enemies flee from us. God will put to shame those who rise against us when we seek His face with great faith. Blog # 342 - "Trust in God's help and protection"

You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield. Psalm 115:11. This verse encourages those who fear the Lord to trust in Him, as He is their help and shield. We know that the fear of God is not about being afraid of Him; it is about giving Him reverence, honor, and priority in every area of our lives. The image of God as a 'help' and a 'shield' has deep meaning. In the ancient world, a shield was an essential piece of armor that provided protection from enemy attacks. Likewise, God is portrayed as a shield, providing His people with defense against their enemies. Additionally, God as help emphasizes His role as a helper for His people in times of trouble. This conveys a sense of God's active involvement in the lives of those who trust in Him. Are you trusting in God's protection and help in every area of your life? And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:17. There is a clear contrast between the two statements in this verse. Those who follow God's will live forever, while those who chase temporary worldly things will lose their life. The believers who please the world will lose their reward. The choice before us is whether to do God's will or satisfy our fleshly desires. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are called to follow His words and live with the mind of Christ, striving to do His will. However, if after receiving salvation we fall into worldly temptations—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—we will not enter into heaven.
