Blog # 315 - "Fear of God brings life and safety."

The fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil. Proverbs 19:23.

King Solomon emphasizes the importance of the fear of the Lord in this chapter. He mentions that when we fear God, we receive life, satisfaction, and safety. 

     First, fearing God leads to life. Since the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, it leads to a life of happiness, prosperity, and success. The Word of God says that the fear of the Lord is a life-giving fountain that prolongs days. 

    Second, the fear of the Lord brings lasting satisfaction. God reserves peace for those who fear Him. 

    Third, the fear of the Lord saves from evil. God protects those who fear Him from every danger. 

Do you have the fear of the Lord? 

Proverbs 14:26 says, "In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge."

கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் ஜீவனுக்கேதுவானது; அதை அடைந்தவன் திருப்தியடைந்து நிலைத்திருப்பான்; தீமை அவனை அணுகாது. நீதிமொழிகள் 19:23

சாலொமோன் ராஜா இந்த அதிகாரத்தில் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை வலியுறுத்துகிறார். நாம் தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படும்போது ஜீவனும், திருப்தியும், பாதுகாப்பும் கிடைக்கும் என்று அவர் குறிப்பிடுகிறார். 

    முதலாவதாக, தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படுவது ஜீவனுக்கு நடத்துகிறது. கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலே ஞானத்தின் ஆரம்பம் என்பதால், அது மகிழ்ச்சி, செழிப்பு மற்றும் வெற்றி நிறைந்த வாழ்க்கைக்கு வழிநடத்துகிறது. கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் ஜீவனளிக்கும் நீரூற்று என்றும், அது நாட்களை நீடிக்கிறது என்றும் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை கூறுகிறது. 

    இரண்டாவதாக, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் நீடித்த திருப்தியைக் கொண்டுவருகிறது. தேவனிடத்தில் பயபக்தியாய் இருப்போருக்கென்று சமாதானத்தை  ஒதுக்கி வைக்கிறார் 

.     மூன்றாவதாக, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் தீமையினின்று பாதுகாக்கிறது. தேவன் தன்னிடத்தில் பயபக்தியாய்  நடப்போரை எல்லா ஆபத்துகளிலிருந்தும் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்.

 நீங்கள் தேவனிடத்தில் பயபக்தியாய் இருக்கிறீர்களா? 

நீதிமொழிகள் 14:2 கூறுகிறது, “கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவனுக்குத் திடநம்பிக்கை உண்டு; அவன் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் அடைக்கலம் கிடைக்கும்.”

    Fear is antithesis to Faith but 'Fear of God' is the foundation of Faith! Fear of God drives away the fear of the world! Thank You for the apt Bible verses.

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. James 1:27. Apostle James describes “pure and genuine religion” as the kind that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless: caring for orphans and widows in their distress, and keeping oneself unpolluted by the world. He highlights three signs that prove our religion is real: it impacts our conversation, our compassion, and our character. Pure religion involves loving God and others, especially those who are alone, forgotten, or in trouble, with the right motives. It recognizes the distress in the world and moves to meet that need.  Prophet Zechariah says that not to oppress the widow or the fatherless (Zechariah 7:10). "God desires intimate relationship with contrite."

I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Isaiah 57:15. God identifies Himself as the great and exalted One who lives forever and whose name is Holy. He created time, space, matter, and human beings. He stretched out the heavens and trampled the waves of the sea. His desire is to renew a right spirit within the hearts of lost souls who are dead in sin. Instead of dwelling in heaven, a holy place, our Almighty God wants to live with us, who are meek, holy, and humble of heart. He also wants to revive those with a contrite spirit and dwell in the hearts of all who believe in His name. This revelation unveils God's heart, characterized by compassion, grace, and accessibility. As for me, I will call upon God, And the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice. Psalm 55:16-17. Here, King David speaks of calling upon God's name for salvation. He mentions crying out to the Lord three times a day with a loud voice. Why would David pray this way? It’s because he understands that only God can save him from all his fears, trials, and problems. Similarly, we can call upon the Lord when we are discouraged, afraid, or worried. Jesus bore all our burdens and sins on the cross and saved us. We should also have confidence in the Lord like David, constantly reaching out to Him in prayer and with thanksgiving. He hears our voice and delivers us when we pray continually. Blog # 361 - "Celebrate victories through worship and praise"

I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. Psalm 7:17. This scripture says how King David gives praises to the God of righteousness and to the name of the Lord Most High. This verse encourages us to praise and worship the Lord for His righteousness and His sovereignty. David is praising God’s name as “ God Most High.” We first see "God Most High," which in Hebrew is “ El Elyon ” ; in Genesis 14:18, Melchizedek is identified as "priest of God Most High." This name occurs multiple times in the Psalms. It identifies God as the supreme, exalted sovereign in heaven. We must celebrate all the victories over our trials and tribulations through worship and praise. He is the great king over all the earth. "Jesus promises answered prayers in faith."

If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:14. In this chapter, Apostle John describes how Jesus was preparing His disciples for His departure from earth and encouraging them not to lose hope but to trust in His name. He promised that whatever we ask in His name, He will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. One of the miracles Jesus performed involved blind Bartimaeus, a man with faith, who cried out and called upon the name of Jesus. Jesus answered his call and restored his sight. Jesus still answers prayers when we ask in His name according to His will, for the purpose of glorifying Father. He is our prayer-answering God, full of mercy and compassion. He speaks about the relationship we have with the Father through Jesus, for the glorification of His name. "Blessings Crown the Righteous"

Blessings are on the head of the righteous. Proverbs 10:6. Proverbs often compares the righteous and the wicked. This scripture speaks of what covers the rig hteous man and what covers the wicked as well. We read that blessings are on the righteous man's head, whereas violence covers the wicked. If we look at Abraham in the Bible, God crowned him with blessings because he was a righteous man before God. He was a man of faith, humility, and obedience before God. The blessing that was promised to Abraham is made available to the Gentiles through faith in Jesus. This blessing refers to the promise of salvation and the inheritance of eternal life. Today, if we obey His word and walk in His way s, we also receive His blessings like Abraham.
