Blog # 317 - "Abide in God, He hears prayers"

And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1 John 5:15.

Today's verse speaks about the hearing of prayer. Prayer is an essential function of faith—its natural activity. Prayer arises from faith, from the confidence we have in God. Once we submit our petitions to Him according to His will, we should believe that He will answer our prayers. Sometimes the answer will take time, and we need to wait for His timing. To know His will, we should abide in Him and know His heart. To abide in Him, we should delight in the Word of God day and night. To delight in the Word of God, we should have the desire to read the Word and love the Lord. Shall we decide to read the Bible and meditate on that every day? In Psalm 37:4, King David says, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart."

இன்றைய வசனம் ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்பதைப் பற்றிப் பேசுகிறது. ஜெபம் என்பது விசுவாசத்தின் இன்றியமையாத செயல்பாடு-அதன் இயல்பான செயல்பாடு. ஜெபம் விசுவாசத்தின் மூலம் வருகிறது, தேவனில் நாம் வைத்திருக்கும் நம்பிக்கையிலிருந்து எழுகிறது. அவருடைய சித்தத்தின்படி நமது வேண்டுதல்களை அவரிடம் ஒப்படைத்தவுடன், அவர் நமது ஜெபங்களுக்கு பதிலளிப்பார் என்று நாம் விசுவாசிக்க வேண்டும். சில நேரங்களில் பதில் வர தாமதமாகும், மற்றும் நாம் அவரது நேரத்திற்காகக் காத்திருக்க வேண்டும். அவருடைய சித்தத்தை அறிய, நாம் அவருடைய இருதயத்தை அறிந்து, அவரில் நிலைத்திருக்க வேண்டும். அவரில் நிலைத்திருக்க, நாம் இரவும் பகலும் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையில் பிரியமாயிருக்க வேண்டும் வேண்டும். தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையில் மகிழ்வதற்கு, அந்த வார்த்தையை வாசிக்கவும், கர்த்தரை நேசிக்கவும் நாம் ஆசைப்பட வேண்டும். நாம் தினமும் வேதாகமத்தைப் படித்து அதைப் பற்றி தியானிக்க முடிவெடுப்போமா? சங்கீதம் 37:4 -ல், தாவீது ராஜா சொல்லுகிறார், “கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு; அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை உனக்கு அருள்செய்வார்.”
