Blog # 318 - "Hear God's voice, walk in wisdom"

Hear, my son, and be wise; And guide your heart in the way. Proverbs 23:19.

This verse talks about the instructions of a wise and loving father to his son. King Solomon mentions three steps in this verse. 

1. Hear
2. Be wise 

3. Guide your heart in the way

The first step: 'Hear' is a crucial one. We are to hear the voice of God often, listen attentively with a heavenly purpose, and receive the gospel as a message from God. This step is the foundation of our spiritual journey. 

The second step: 'Be wise' is equally important. It's not just about hearing but also about acting upon what we hear. We should prepare our minds to know and understand the word of God, embrace the truth, and choose the right path that guides us to heaven. This step is where our faith becomes active. 

The third step: This step is to 'Guide our hearts to walk in His ways,' allowing the word of God to lead us toward eternal life.

Are we hearing His voice every day and walking in His ways?  Colossians 3:1 says, "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God."

என் மகனே, நீ செவிகொடுத்து ஞானமடைந்து, உன் இருதயத்தை நல்வழியிலே நடத்து. நீதிமொழிகள் 23:19.

இந்த வசனம் ஒரு ஞானமும் அன்பும் நிறைந்த தகப்பன் தன் மகனுக்கு கொடுக்கும் அறிவுரைகளைப் பற்றி பேசுகிறது. இந்த வசனத்தில் சாலொமோன் ராஜா மூன்று படிகளைக் குறிப்பிடுகிறார். 

1. கேள். 
2. ஞானமாயிரு.

3. உன் இருதயத்தை நல் வழியிலே நடத்து

முதல் படி: 'கேள்,' ஒரு முக்கியமான ஒன்றாகும். நாம் அடிக்கடி தேவனின் குரலைக் கேட்க வேண்டும், பரலோக நோக்கத்துடன் கவனமாகக் கேட்க வேண்டும், தேவனிடமிருந்து ஒரு செய்தியாக நற்செய்தியைப் பெற வேண்டும். இந்தப் படிதான் நமது ஆன்மீகப் பயணத்தின் அடித்தளம். 

இரண்டாவது படி: 'ஞானமாயிரு,' சமமாக முக்கியமானது. இது கேட்பது மட்டுமல்ல, நாம் கேட்பதைச் செயல்படுத்துவதும் ஆகும். தேவனின் வார்த்தையை அறிந்து கொள்ளவும், புரிந்து கொள்ளவும், சத்தியத்தைத் தழுவி, பரலோகத்திற்கு நம்மை வழிநடத்தும் சரியான பாதையைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கவும் நம் மனதை தயார்படுத்த வேண்டும். இந்தப் படியில்தான் நமது நம்பிக்கை செயலில் இறங்குகிறது.

மூன்றாவது படி:  இது நமது இருதயங்களை அவரின் வழிகளில் நடந்திட வழிநடத்த வேண்டும், தேவனின் வார்த்தை நம்மை நித்திய வாழ்விற்கு வழிநடத்த அனுமதிக்க வேண்டும்.. 

நாம் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் அவரது குரலைக் கேட்டு, அவரது வழிகளில் நடக்கிறோமா?  கொலோசெயர் 3:1 சொல்லுகிறது, “நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவுடன்கூட எழுந்ததுண்டானால், கிறிஸ்து தேவனுடைய வலதுபாரிசத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கும் இடத்திலுள்ள மேலானவைகளைத் தேடுங்கள்.”
