Blog # 326 - "Compassion brings blessings and protection"

Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. Psalm 41:1.

This world is poverty-stricken. Millions suffer without basic necessities. Most of the time, such people are neglected, and their sufferings go unnoticed. People are busy with their own agendas, and no one has any time to care for someone outside their own family. In this juncture, this scripture comes as a strong reminder, saying, "Consider the poor." This scripture beautifully underscores the importance of compassion. It tells us that those who show kindness to the poor are blessed and that God promises to deliver them in times of trouble. This verse reminds us that caring for the less fortunate is not just a good deed but a divine calling that aligns us with God's heart. In considering the poor, we are called to look beyond ourselves and extend a hand of kindness and support. This act of generosity doesn't go unnoticed by God. It invites His blessing and protection into our lives. Shall we decide to help a poor who comes across our lives within 24 hours of reading this?   Proverbs 19:17 says, "He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, And He will pay back what he has given."

சிறுமைப்பட்டவன்மேல் சிந்தையுள்ளவன் பாக்கியவான்; தீங்குநாளில் கர்த்தர் அவனை விடுவிப்பார். சங்கீதம் 41:1.

இந்த உலகத்தில் வறுமையில் வாடுகிறவர் அநேகர் . லட்சக்கணக்கானோர் அடிப்படை தேவைகள் இன்றி அவதிப்படுகின்றனர். பெரும்பாலும், இத்தகைய மக்கள் புறக்கணிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள், மேலும் அவர்களுடைய கஷ்டங்கள் கவனிக்கப்படுவதில்லை. மக்கள் தங்களுடைய சொந்த வேலைகளில் மிகுந்த பிஸியாக இருக்கிறார்கள், மேலும் அவர்களுடைய சொந்த குடும்பத்தைத் தவிர வேறு ஒருவரையும் கவனிக்க அவர்களுக்கு நேரமில்லை. இந்நிலையில், "ஏழைகளைக் கவனியுங்கள்" என்று, இந்த வசனம்நம்மை ஆழமாக ஞாபகப்படுத்துகிறது. இந்த வசனம் இரக்கத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை அழகாக அடிக்கோடிட்டுக் காட்டுகிறது. ஏழைகளுக்கு இரக்கம் காட்டுகிறவர்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள், ஆபத்துக் காலங்களில் தேவன் அவர்களை விடுவிப்பார் என்று வாக்குறுதி அளிக்கிறது.. குறைவானவர்களைப் பரிவுடன் கவனிப்பது நல்ல செயலாக மட்டுமல்ல, தேவனின் இதயத்துடன் நம்மை இணைக்கும் தெய்வீக அழைப்பாகவும் இது நினைவூட்டுகிறது. எளியவர்களை எண்ணிக்கொள்வதில், நாம் நம்மை மீறி பார்த்து, பரிவின் கரத்தை நீட்டும்படி அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம். தாராள மனப்பான்மையின் இந்த செயல் தேவனால் கவனிக்கப்படாமல் போவது இல்லை. அது அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதத்தையும் பாதுகாப்பையும் நம் வாழ்வில் கொடுக்கிறது. இந்த செய்தியைப் படித்த 24 மணி நேரத்திற்குள் நமது வாழ்க்கையில் சந்திக்கும் ஒரு ஏழைக்கு உதவ முடிவு எடுப்போமா? நீதிமொழிகள் 19:17 கூறுகிறது: "ஏழைக்கு இரங்குகிறவன் கர்த்தருக்குக் கடன்கொடுக்கிறான்; அவன் கொடுத்ததை அவர் திரும்பக் கொடுப்பார்.”
