Blog # 330 - "Saved by Grace, Not by Deeds"

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5.

It is the great truth that we are saved by His grace, not by our good deeds or righteousness. King David says that our Lord is gracious and our God is merciful. Salvation comes only from God and only through God's mercy. Salvation involves being spiritually cleansed and reborn as well as continually transformed and renewed by the Holy Spirit. Because of His mercy, all our sins were washed away, and we were born from above by the Spirit of Christ. Also, salvation is a free gift of grace from God to those who believe in Christ as Savior, believe that He died on the Cross to pay the price for our sins and to give us the eternal life. Can our righteousness save us? Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.”

நாம் செய்த நீதியின் கிரியைகளினிமித்தம் அவர் நம்மை இரட்சியாமல், தமது இரக்கத்தின்படியே, மறுஜென்ம முழுக்கினாலும், பரிசுத்த ஆவியினுடைய புதிதாக்குதலினாலும் நம்மை இரட்சித்தார். தீத்து 3:5.

அவருடைய கிருபையினால் நாம் இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிறோமே தவிர, நம்முடைய நற்கிரியைகளாலோ அல்லது நமது நீதியினாலோ அல்ல என்பதே பெரிய சத்தியம். கர்த்தர் கிருபையும் நீதியுமுள்ளவர், நம்முடைய தேவன் மனஉருக்கமானவர் என்று தாவீது ராஜா சொல்லுகிறார். இரட்சிப்பு தேவனிடமிருந்து, அவருடைய இரக்கத்தினால் கிடைக்கிறது. இரட்சிப்பு என்பது ஆவிக்குரிய ரீதியில் சுத்திகரிக்கப்பட்டு மறுபிறப்பு பெறுவதையும், பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரால் தொடர்ந்து மாற்றப்பட்டு புதுப்பிக்கப்படுவதையும் உள்ளடக்குகிறது. அவருடைய இரக்கத்தினிமித்தம், நம்முடைய பாவங்கள் அனைத்தும் கழுவப்பட்டு, நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆவியினால் மேலிருந்து பிறந்தோம். கிறிஸ்துவை இரட்சகராக விசுவாசித்து, நம்முடைய பாவங்களுக்கான கிரயத்தைச் செலுத்தவும், நமக்கு நித்திய ஜீவனைக் கொடுக்கவும் அவர் சிலுவையில் மரித்தார் என்று நம்புகிறவர்களுக்கு இரட்சிப்பு தேவனிடமிருந்து வரும் கிருபையின் இலவச ஈவாகும். நமது நீதி நம்மை இரட்சிக்குமா?  எபேசியர் 2:8 கூறுகிறது, “கிருபையினாலே விசுவாசத்தைக்கொண்டு இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; இது உங்களால் உண்டானதல்ல, இது தேவனுடைய ஈவு.”

Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:34. Today's verse reminds us that God is sovereign and in control of our lives, and we can trust in His provision and care for us. The law of the wise is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death. Proverbs 13:14. This verse teaches us the value of wisdom and its life-giving power. Wisdom refreshes and sustains us like a fountain of life. On the other hand, ignoring wisdom leads to danger and destruction, symbolized as "snares of death." Just as snares trap animals, rejecting wise guidance can trap us in harmful situations.   (The Bible teaches, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom - Proverbs 9:10).   Reflection today: Are there areas in your life where you're not following wisdom? "God created us in a unique way"

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Jeremiah 1:5 We need to thank the Lord for knowing us before we were formed in our mother's womb. How precious we are and how beautifully He created each one of us in a unique way. The word of God says that our frames are not hidden from Him when we were made in secret, and His eyes saw our unformed bodies. He has a great plan for each one of us. We need to seek God's guidance to find that plan and purpose in our lives. Blog # 359 - "Trust in God's mighty power"

Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding. Job 36:5. Today’s scripture speaks of how mighty our God is and of His strength and understanding. When trouble comes, we often focus more on the problem than on the mighty power of God , and we get discouraged easily. But God expects us to remember and praise Him, that He is all-powerful, strong, and mighty and praise Him. He has the power to control nature, the universe, and all of creation. He sent His only Son into the world to crush the enemy's head at the cross. King David could easily defeat the giant Goliath, revealing the power of God as greater than that of the enemy. We should always remember that our God is the Lord of Hosts, and who is victorious. When we have faith in God and His might, we will see miracles in our lives.
