"Love others as Jesus loves us"

For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 1 John 3:11.

God created mankind in His own image to share His love and have a relationship with them. But they disobeyed Him and broke the relationship with Him. Then God felt bad and decided to save them by sending His only Son Jesus to die for their sins and save them. Today, God expects us to show the sacrificial love of Jesus on the cross to others. 1 Corinthians 13 speaks about His love, which is kind, patient, does not envy or boast, and is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. If we have the love of Jesus in our hearts, then we can love others, even those who hate us. We are to imitate the love of Jesus, while serving and loving others just as He did! John 13:34 says, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another."

நாம் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்புகூரவேண்டுமென்பதே நீங்கள் ஆதிமுதல் கேள்விப்பட்ட விசேஷமாயிருக்கிறது. I யோவான் 3:11.

தேவன் தம்முடைய அன்பைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளவும், அவர்களுடன் உறவு கொள்ளவும் தம்முடைய சொந்த சாயலில் மனிதகுலத்தை உருவாக்கினார். ஆனால் அவர்கள் அவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமல் அவருடனான உறவை முறித்துக் கொண்டனர். பின்னர் தேவன் மனம் நொந்து, தம்முடைய ஒரே குமாரனாகிய இயேசுவை அனுப்பி அவர்களுடைய பாவங்களுக்காக அவரை மரணத்திற்கு ஒப்புவித்து  அவர்களை இரட்சிக்க தீர்மானித்தார். இப்பொழுதும், இயேசுவின் சிலுவையின்  தியாக அன்பை நாம் மற்றவர்களுக்கு காட்ட வேண்டும் என்று தேவன் எதிர்பார்க்கிறார். 1 கொரிந்தியர் 13 அவருடைய அன்பைப் பற்றி பேசுகிறது, “அன்பு நீடிய சாந்தமும் தயவுமுள்ளது; அன்புக்குப் பொறாமையில்லை; அன்பு தன்னைப் புகழாது, இறுமாப்பாயிராது, அயோக்கியமானதைச் செய்யாது, தற்பொழிவை நாடாது, சினமடையாது, தீங்கு நினையாது, அநியாயத்தில் சந்தோஷப்படாமல், சத்தியத்தில் சந்தோஷப்படும்.” நம் இருதயங்களில் இயேசுவின் அன்பு இருந்தால், நாம் மற்றவர்களை நேசிக்க முடியும், நம்மை வெறுப்பவர்களிடம்கூட அன்புகூர முடியும், நாம் இயேசுவின் அன்பைப் பின்பற்ற வேண்டும், அதே சமயம் அவர் செய்ததைப் போலவே மற்றவர்களுக்கு சேவை செய்து அன்பு காட்ட வேண்டும்! யோவான் 13:34 கூறுகிறது, "நீங்கள் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்பாயிருங்கள்; நான் உங்களில் அன்பாயிருந்ததுபோல நீங்களும் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்பாயிருங்கள் என்கிற புதிதான கட்டளையை உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன்."

"Blessings Through Obedience to God"

Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. Deuteronomy 28:4. This verse is part of the blessings associated with obedience to God's commands. It promises that by following His commandments, we will experience prosperity and well-being in multiple areas: good health, fruitful offspring, blessings in our work, fruitful harvests, and future generations. We know how God blessed the life of Abraham as he obeyed God's commands. More than worldly blessings, when we seek heavenly blessings, our God will bless us and our future generations. Are we seeking His eternal blessing above all? J ohn 10:27-28 says, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. "Grateful for God's marvelous works"

For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. Psalm 92:4. King David expresses his happiness and gratitude for everything the Lord has done. He said that the Lord has done many wonderful things and has planned marvelous things for us. There is none to compare with Him. If he were to declare and speak of God's wonders, they would be too many to count. He praises and thanks God for His provisions and blessings, acknowledging that everything God does is good and brings happiness. This attitude of gratitude and faith is central to his message. The verse reflects a deep trust in God's ability to provide joy and triumph in the lives of those who follow Him. David's words encourage others to seek the Lord and find gladness in His works. Blog # 315 - "Fear of God brings life and safety."

The fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil. Proverbs 19:23. King Solomon emphasizes the importance of the fear of the Lord in this chapter. He mentions that when we fear God, we receive life, satisfaction, and safety.        First , fearing God leads to life. Since the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, it leads to a life of happiness, prosperity, and success. The Word of God says that the fear of the Lord is a life-giving fountain that prolongs days.       Second , the fear of the Lord brings lasting satisfaction. God reserves peace for those who fear Him.       Third , the fear of the Lord saves from evil. "Disciplined life yields righteous fruit"

  Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11. Today's verse says that a disciplined life yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. For the moment, all discipline seems unpleasant and painful. Most of the time discipline requires us to bring in the right changes. If we allow ourselves to be disciplined, we will receive blessings in this life. A biblical view of discipline can be quite healthy and powerful in our lives. When we choose to become stronger by inviting the sacrifice of a disciplined life in different areas of our lives, we will experience the benefits - the blessings - from God. It is our choice whether or not to develop a disciplined mind and lifestyle. Blog # 312 "Gentle words have great power"

By long forbearance a ruler is persuaded, And a gentle tongue breaks a bone. Proverbs 25:15. In today’s verse, King Solomon explains how patience can win over a ruler and how a gentle tongue can break a bone. The reference to a tongue breaking a bone is a figure of speech, “illustrating that gentle and kind words can be incredibly powerful and effective.” Wise words and timely answers can persuade a ruler to pursue a challenging course of action. 1 Samuel 25 highlights the power of gentle words in Abigail's conversation with King David. Abigail's husband, Nabal, arrogantly rejected David's request for provisions. However, Abigail went to David and persuaded him not to shed blood. David praised God and thanked Abigail for preventing bloodshed. We need to be very careful in how we use our tongues. How about we analyze how we use our words daily? Blog # 317 - "Abide in God, He hears prayers"

And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1 John 5:15. Today's verse speaks about the hearing of prayer. Prayer is an essential function of faith—its natural activity. Prayer arises from faith, from the confidence we have in God. Once we submit our petitions to Him according to His will, we should believe that He will answer our prayers. Sometimes the answer will take time, and we need to wait for His timing. To know His will, we should abide in Him and know His heart. To abide in Him, we should delight in the Word of God day and night. To delight in the Word of God, we should have the desire to read the Word and love the Lord. Shall we decide to read the Bible and meditate on that every day?
