"Seek God and His Righteousness"

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33.

This is one of the promises of God to those who seek Him with all their heart. In this verse, God wants us to seek two things: 

1. His kingdom 

2. His righteousness. 

This means keeping away all the worldly things which easily ensnares us, and run the race of faith that is set before us, looking unto Jesus Christ, the author and the finisher of our faith (Hebrew 12:1). We need to discipline ourselves to seek Him first. Prioritize Godly things by meditating the word and praying to Him at all times with thanksgiving. This will help us to seek Him more. We need good fellowship and godly friends around us to grow in Him. Then all the blessings of God will follow us. Colossians 3:1 says, "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God."

முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக் கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும். மத்தேயு 6:33.

முழு இருதயத்தோடும் தேவனைத் தேடுகிறவர்களுக்கு தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களில் இதுவும் ஒன்று. இந்த வசனத்தில், நாம் இரண்டு காரியங்களை முதலில் தேட வேண்டும் என்று தேவன் விரும்புகிறார்: 

1. அவருடைய ராஜ்யம்.

2. அவருடைய நீதி. 

அதாவது, நம்மைச் சுற்றி நெருங்கிநிற்கிற பாவத்தையும் தள்ளிவிட்டு, விசுவாசத்தைத் துவக்குகிறவரும் முடிக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிற இயேசுவை நோக்கி, நமக்கு நியமித்திருக்கிற ஓட்டத்தில் பொறுமையோடே ஓடக்கடவோம் (எபிரெயர் 12:1). முதலில் அவரைத் தேடுவதற்கு நம்மை நாமே ஒழுங்குபடுத்திக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையை தியானிப்பதன் மூலமும், எல்லா நேரங்களிலும் ஸ்தோத்திரத்தோடே அவரிடம் ஜெபிப்பதன் மூலமும், தெய்வீக காரியகளுக்கு முன்னுரிமை கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.  இது அவரை மென்மேலும் தேட நமக்கு உதவும். தேவனில் வளர தேவபயமுள்ள நண்பர்களுடன் நமக்கு நல்ல ஐக்கியம் தேவை. அப்போது தேவனின் அனைத்து ஆசீர்வாதங்களும் நம்மைத் தொடரும். கொலோசெயர் 3:1 சொல்லுகிறது, “நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவுடன்கூட எழுந்ததுண்டானால், கிறிஸ்து தேவனுடைய வலதுபாரிசத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கும் இடத்திலுள்ள மேலானவைகளைத் தேடுங்கள்.”
