Blog # 349 - "Blessings come through obedience to God"

The Lord will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you. Deuteronomy 28:8.

This verse is a powerful promise from God for those who obey His commands. The blessings for obedience include fruitful land, many children, abundant food, protection from enemies, and earthly prosperity. Today, we receive spiritual blessings—salvation through Jesus Christ, who sought us and bought us with His life. He expects us to abide in His Word and apply it in our lives. In doing so, we receive blessings in the land where God has placed us, including good health, peace, love, and joy. Do you experience God's blessings through obedience to His commands? Genesis 26:3 says: “Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.”

உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தேசத்திலே உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார். உபாகமம் 28:8.

இந்த வசனம் தேவனின் கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவோருக்கு இறைவனிடமிருந்து வரும் சக்திவாய்ந்த வாக்குறுதியாகும். கீழ்ப்படிதலுக்கான ஆசீர்வாதங்களில் செழிப்பான நிலம், நிறைய பிள்ளைகள், ஏராளமான உணவு, எதிரிகளிடமிருந்து பாதுகாப்பு, பூமிக்குரிய செழிப்பு ஆகியவை அடங்கும். இன்று, நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும்  இரட்சிப்பையும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலம் பெறுகிறோம், அவர் நம்மைத் தேடி, அவருடைய ஜீவனைக் கொண்டு நம்மை மீட்டுக்கொண்டார். நாம் அவருடைய வார்த்தையில் நிலைத்திருந்து அதை நம் வாழ்வில் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்று அவர் எதிர்பார்க்கிறார். அப்படிச் செய்யும்போது, தேவன் நம்மை வைத்திருக்கிற தேசத்தில் நல்ல ஆரோக்கியம், சமாதானம், அன்பு, சந்தோஷம் போன்ற ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறுகிறோம். அவருடைய கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதன் மூலம் தேவனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களை நீங்கள் அனுபவிக்கிறீர்களா? ஆதியாகமம் 26:3 சொல்லுகிறது: “இந்தத் தேசத்திலே வாசம்பண்ணு; நான் உன்னோடேகூட இருந்து, உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பேன்; நான் உனக்கும் உன் சந்ததிக்கும் இந்தத் தேசங்கள் யாவையும் தந்து, உன் தகப்பனாகிய ஆபிரகாமுக்கு நான் இட்ட ஆணையை நிறைவேற்றுவேன்.”
